Executive Vacation Home at Silver Star Mountain - Sleeps 8-10

Welcome to Black Pine Lodge, our 4 Bedroom and den, 3.5 Bathroom luxury vacation home located on 'The Knoll' at Silver Star Mountain. This property has it all, great location, lots of room and tastefully decorated.

Situated on right on the ski way, only steps from the Silver Woods chair lift, this property has one of the best ski in, ski out locations on the mountain and is only a 5 minute walk to the village.

Located on two floors, the upper floor contains the master suite, two other guest bedrooms and a full bathroom. The master is tastefully decorated with a king size bed, a full ensuite, a huge walk in closet, a fireplace and TV as well as a great view of the Monashee Mountains. Guest room #1 has a queen bed, while Guest room #2 has a bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and a twin on the top.

The main floor has one smaller bedroom with a set of single bunk beds and a den/ TV room, with its own full ensuite. The den/TV room has a very comfortable high end Seally queen size sofa bed. This room has a 42' TV and DVD player and its a perfect place for the kids to hang out while you enjoy the main living room area.

Also on the main floor is a heated boot room with a separate entrance for taking off and storing your gear so its nice and dry for the next day's skiing. On this floor there is also a laundry room with a full washer and dryer, as well as a separate 2 piece bathroom.

The large entryway and living room are tastefully decorated and feature vaulted ceilings. The living room has hand scraped hardwood floors and windows on two sides, which have views of the ski runs on Silver Star and of the Monashee Mountains. There is a wrought iron, gas fireplace and a 42" TV and sound bar with free Netflix, DVD player and stereo system.

The fully equipped kitchen has heated tile floors, a walk in pantry, lots of cupboards and seating at the eating bar for 4 people. The dining room table has seating for up to 8.

Off of the living room for easy access is a covered deck, with views over the trees and a hot tub (not available in summer) and gas barbecue.

Christmas Ski Vacation

Beautiful home on the hill.Ski in Ski out was a real hit for all of us. The owners had a Christmas tree available for us to use which the kids loved. Highly recommend !!

Very comfortable & well equipped house for a family holiday

House is very comfortable ,spacious & well equipped & suitable for an extended family. The house is accessed by a quite steep driveway which meant that we had to haul ski bags etc from the main road . Only a short walk along the ski way to the village . Loved the hot tub on the deck.

Amazing house, bad driveway

We stayed 3 nights here and overall it was great. The pictures really don't due this property justice, as once you step foot in the front door you are wowed by how beautiful the house is. Close walk to the village and very close to the ski runs. My only complaint is the driveway and road the house is located on. The driveway is very slim and located right on a hill that gets VERY icy in the winter, so maneuvering into the driveway is tricky without sliding down the hill or getting stuck. Overall, we had a great time here. It's a beautiful house minutes away from everything you'd need, it just has a terrible driveway that needs more of a disclaimer. Not only did both our vehicles get stuck getting in and out of the driveway, but multiple vehicles also got stuck on the road directly out front during our stay.

From reservation to check in, owners were accommodating and communicative. Beautiful unit that worked perfectly for our group of six. Loved the mudroom for ski gear and the kitchen had everything we needed. Short walk lead right to the ski lift. True ski in ski out. We would stay there again.

SilverStar stay Jan 2020

We stayed in this property in January 2020. The house comfortably accommodated 2 families of 5. The kitchen is a good size and was well stocked with the basics. Good spa and BBQ, and great sized bedrooms. The drying room is a bit small for 10 people but there is a good sized hanging area and wardrobe in the entry. You can ski in easily off the Silverwoods or Silver Queen chairs or the Gondola. Skiing out you either need to skate uphill for a few minutes or ski downhill to the village and take your skis off and walk for a few minutes. The owners were excellent to deal with - very prompt and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous home for family ski trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were easy to work with and great with their communication. The home is in beautiful condition, and we had easy access to skiing, the village, the tubing hill, and the skating pond. If we go back to this mountain, we will definitely go back to this home. Quick wedding getaway

Great property for a short stay for a friends wedding. Short walk to the village. Property was super clean and had all the amenities. Very easy to deal with Dave the owner. Would recommend this for any stay at Silver Star. Would be great for winter skiing as it would comfortably hold 10 people

The house was perfect for our group.

The kitchen was very well supplied and the living room very cozy. Our group spent many enjoyable hours hanging out in this welcoming space. The access to the ski trails was the best we have ever had in all the trips we have done to Silverstar over the years. We had the master bedroom (lucky me) and we felt like we were in the lap of luxury. We definitely want to return.

Hi Dave and Lynn, Sincere thanks for the use of your beautiful property!Although our Son has lived in B.C. for the last seven years, this was our first "snow" experience. My attempt to ski was unsuccessful but access to the village was easy anyway. Our family gathered from Nth Qld, Brisbane,Gold Coast,Sydney and London to share this adventure.There was plenty of space for us all. Great house, perfect location

We had an excellent stay here. We were two couples and two kids and could have easily had another couple stay as well. The layout is great, with plenty of separation between the sleeping areas and the common area. Location is excellent. Perfect location for ski-in/ski-out and a 5-minute walk to the village (highly recommend Bugaboo for coffee and pastries). Great views of the mountain and all the snow! Dave and Lynn provided all of the information we needed and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. We had a request related to the hot tub that was addressed very promptly. Overall an excellent stay and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful home in The Knoll

My family of 5 stayed in Dave and Lynn's home on Hindle Lane just before Christmas 2017. The home is absolutely lovely. It is really well equipped with very high quality furnishing, décor, kitchenware and utensils, and towels and bedding. We couldn't ask for a better set up! From the large driveway (adequate for 3 or 4 vehicles), one enters the home either through a small ski mud room or through the front door into a large foyer. The main floor has the kitchen, dining, living room, laundry, one bedroom with bunkbeds and a separate TV room/den. There is a full bath off the TV room and a half bath in the laundry. The dining room table can seat 8 easily and there is also a kitchen bar with three stools. The living room and dining room adjoin into one large room with a beautiful stone fireplace in the living room part. A large sundeck with BBQ and hottub overlook the Silver Woods ski out. Upstairs, the house is equipped with a huge master bedroom with fireplace and ensuite, as well as a second master and a smaller bedroom with bunkbeds. There is also a shared full bathroom on this level. The actual home is even better than the lovely pictures. Dave and Lynn made the arrangements seamlessly and provided excellent instructions on access. There is a great house manual. We hope that we can enjoy this lovely home again!

A delightful ski vacation home!

This is a spacious, well decorated, well provisioned comfortable place with a large private hot tub on the balcony. It is very close to the village, the lifts & skating pond/ tube park. You never need to take your car out of the driveway until you're leaving. We were a 3 generation family group staying for a week & everyone was delighted with the accommodations.

Great location, beautiful home amongst the trees.

Blackpine lodge ticked all the boxes. Spacious, comfortable and close to the heart of Silver Star. We stayed 17 days and loved every minute. There were a couple of issues with the 2nd bathroom upstairs but after a quick phone call to Dave, a tradesman was at the front door within 20 mins, maybe even less. My only (very small) negative, and it would only be because I'm a caterer, is the glassware and plates need upgrading. Dinner ware a bit chipped and no "champagne" glasses or nice acrylic for the spar. The ski out was easy after a few days and an easy walk back up in the afternoon, literally 20 steps. Beds, linen, towels all fluffy and soft, like a luxury hotel

Amazing Winter Vacation

Our party of 8 (4 adults and 4 children) can not say thank you enough for the opportunity to stay at Black Pine Lodge. It was amazing, the location, weather (snow) and facilities!!!!. The pictures give a true impression of the lodge. The property was clean and well maintained. All our dealings with the owners were fantastic and especially the visit bearing wine, muchly appreciated. The lodge is 5 mins for the main village making everything easy. We hope to return in the not too distant future. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you

Great House

Had a lovely stay for 17 nights in Black Pine Lodge, location for ski in and out was great. House contained everything we needed. The only negative would be the lack of light weight duvet. We found upstairs bedrooms got very hot even though we turned off heating, I would have liked the option of having a lighter weight blanket/duvet. Would definitely stay there again if we had numbers requiring a four bedroom house.
