Fantastically Fun Stay!

The family had a great time on our 4th of July trip! The house was fantastic and clean! Such a homey cabin feel, toys for the kids and adults, with all the amenities imaginable. Fun for all ages. We’ll definitely be back!

This house totally exceeded our expectations. It was sparkling clean, well stocked and super comfortable. We loved the quiet neighborhood and outside decks too. We look forward to staying again and highly recommend!

This charming home was the cleanest home I’ve been to. The host has thought of everything to make sure her guests can enjoy their stay and feel welcomed! We had a fabulous time surrounded by nature and peaceful beauty. ( we even had resting dear in the backyard ) We plan to book with her again!

Great house, deposit policy sucks

Of all the short term home retails I done, this was the nicest house I have rented, well prepared and decorated, my parents thought it could use more light for reading though. Great location in a forested neighborhood. House was spotless and appeared to be almost new. My only issue is the if you don’t buy the damage insurance, you are required to put up a very large security deposit, 5 days after stay I contacted Vrbo and was told it will be another 2 to 3 weeks for it to be refunded. I was informed by Vrbo that it is the owner’s discretion to charge and the amount of deposit. In this era of add ons and additional fees this is leaving me with a sour taste. Great house but add in the insurance or don’t expect to see your deposit for a while.

Pollock Pines is truly a beautiful area, its known for its scenic views, lakes, and forest. I love to go to the lake during the summer for hiking, kayaking, and floating. During the fall Apple Hill is always a great time to try different apple donuts, apple cider, apple beer and check out all the different vendors!

We are located 2 miles from sly park Recreation area. With a short drive to Placerville or Apple Hill you can always experience fun and different things to do!
