We usually do not rent from the 3d week of June through the end of August. - family uses the house. Please check with owner for Rates because rate structure on VRBO can sometimes be confusing and rates may be different than shown. Minimum rental is usually 2 nights and if you want to rent a Friday or Sat night, the full weekend rate applies to the second night whether it is a Thurs or a Sunday. Nightly rate is generally an add on to a weekend rental. If you want to rent just mid week, the night rate depends on when you want to stay and how long.

Our home, which has been in the family for 3 generations, has been totally renovated and upgraded to a modern house with all the amenities you want. The house still maintains it's original charm and comfort. We only rent it out only part of the time and we price it at very reasonsable rates for this reason, especially for a house this nice. It is about a 5 minute walk to the YCSH, the Windrift, the Icona Inn or 10 minutes to the Reeds, and other event venues.
This house boasts a kitchen downstairs, kitchenette upstairs, and family rooms on both floors. The downstairs kitchen has all modern appliances, with an oversized center island that can easily seat 4, 2 sinks, a seperate beverage fridge, and everything you need for cooking, including a stocked spice cabinet. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the tools you need prepare great meals for your family and friends. The living/dining/kitchen open area leads out to a full size in-ground swimming pool with ample outdoor furniture and an outside shower to rinse the sand off before you plunge into the very large pool (one of the largest, if not the largest, on the Island! Pool is usually open from around Memorial Day Weekend to late September, but please check with owner if pool will be open later than September).
Or spend time at the Stone Harbor recreation area 3 short blocks away, with 12 tennis courts, basketball courts, playground and various ball fields. Or walk to town in just 8 blocks where you must be sure to get Springers famous ice cream and stroll the town or catch a movie. Or walk to Buds Market less than 3 blocks away if you want to get food and grill on our Weber grill.
This house has 7 nicely decorated, comfortable bedrooms. The upstairs master has a king size bed and balcony, the downstairs master has a king size bed, and front porch. There is also another queen bedroom and a third bedroom with two singles on the first floor and 2 bathrooms. Upstairs has a total of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom has a king, two have queens, and the largest has 3 singles. We have central air and heat, 2 wood burning fireplaces and enough balconies and windows to enjoy the ocean breeze.

This house is perfect for any family gathering of up to 14 people, plenty of places to hide, 3 balconies to choose from! It has several large flat screen tvs, including a few smart tvs.

In the late Spring, June and September, weekly rentals are usually Friday to Friday.

LINENS AND/OR TOWELS CAN BE SUPPLIED BY A SERVICE FOR A SMALL REASONABLE FEE. MOST GUESTS DO NOT WANT THIS, SO I DO NOT INCLUDE THE COST IN THE CHARGES. BUT YOU CAN GET EITHER OR BOTH FOR A REASONABLE FEE. PLEASE CHECK WITH OWNER.
