The place was very nice. The bathroom and kitchen especially feel like they're new. The shower was huge and we enjoyed the clawfoot tub. We enjoyed our stay. The stairs were a little steep and we couldn't get the oven to work well. I don't think it ever preheated for the frozen pizza we were trying to heat.

We stayed two nights this Memorial Day weekend in order for my grandpa to visit family he has not seen in years!! It was a nice place to visit with family, kid-friendly, quiet, comfortable, clean, and exactly what we needed for our quick trip to Jamestown! The host was wonderful with communication and quick to answer if I had questions! The cabin is BEAUTIFUL, and we did not want to leave. Anytime, we go to Jamestown, we will plan to stay here! If I had to leave any type of recccomendation for the next time we stayed it would be better direction of how to get back to the house. We are not from the area and it did take a minute for us to figure out how to get back to the cabin off the road. We also would have liked a microwave just for the kids food to be heated up but we ended up using the air fryer and toaster, which worked just fine for our quick stay! Overall, 10/10

Beautiful, cozy and clean. So peaceful and nice place to reflect and decompress. Beautifully decorated and just felt so relaxed and at home here. Very safe feeling too. Wifi was great (I had to work and had no issues). We caught a lot of fish and enjoyed watching the geese and other wildlife each day. Hope to make it a regular trip.

Exceptional Getaway Home

This home is very comfortable and cozy. The setting is very peaceful. Mornings on the back porch drinking coffee overlooking the pond and watching the sun rise were a treat each morning. The owners have lovingly cared for the property. Communication was also top notch. We would recommend this home for your next get away.

Peaceful close to town

Loved staying in the cabin. Very homey and comfortable. Beds are very comfortable. Loved the clawfoot tub. Enjoyed the covered porch looking at the pond. Will definitely stay again. Host is very responsive and respectful.

First, the host was amazing! She was so accommodating and friendly! The cabin was absolutely beautiful, inside and out! It smelled so good and was so clean! She has everything you’ll need in there to have a comfortable stay! The property is beautiful, and the rocking chairs are the best touch! We will most definitely be staying here again!!!

Nice get away in a small town with beautiful sights around

Our stay was amazing! In the beginning, we had a problem with the Wi-Fi, but the host was quick to resolve it! There were only a couple things that we wish were different or were included. Unfortunately, this property did not have a microwave, which was not the end of the world, but would have been nice if there was one included.

I knew it was going to be peaceful, but I did not know just how peaceful it would be!! As soon as I pulled in, I was in heaven. The cabin is perfect. There were horses in the pasture to the left and the pond behind was pure serenity. I watched the horses almost the entire time I was there. At one point, one of them came over to say hi and I was able to give some love and pets. It was a highlight! There is also a beaver (I think.) in the pond and that was a highlight as well, spent quiet time trying to find him again and I was so excited every time I did! Location is amazing! Close enough for convenience but you'd never know it! Bed was incredibly comfortable, as were pillows. The bathtub felt luxurious, it's so big and lovely. And the kitchen was so well done and had all the things I needed to make myself dinner! I'd be back a million times over!! All in all, it was the best most relaxing weekend and I'm so happy I found it!! Will absolutely be back!!
