Lakefront, Gas Firepit. Hot Tub. Private Dock. Pup Friendly
It has been dubbed "Tennessee's Last Frontier" and "Yosemite of the East". The Upper Cumberland…or as we call it, “the U.C.”. What a wonderous, magical place to escape the hustle, bustle, hassle and humidity of the city, and just a couple of hours away from Nashville & Knoxville. It’s just too good not to share! Perfect 4/2 is one of a two cabin property. One is my little getaway and the other can be yours, located on a spring fed lake in a private community just minutes from Big South Fork, Dale Hollow Lake, Muddy Pond and Historic Rugby. The clean, cozy cabin is nestled in the oaks just steps away from my large private covered dock.
Enjoy a camp fire, nap in a hammock, drop a line off the dock or just snuggle up with a good book by the new firepit and enjoy views of the lake & moss garden from the large covered decks. There’s something for everyone and the cabin is all yours!

The little apartment was so cute, clean, and cozy! It was well decorated and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We loved the view and hot tub the most!
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and Leigh was a very attentive host! The cabin was incredibly cozy and had every detail considered. The bed was very comfortable too!! We came to town to hike and explore Big Soth Fork, which is a gorgeous area. By the time we finished at the park we didn't spend much time outside of the cabin because the weather was very chilly, but the dock and patio areas were PHENOMENAL and we're excited to come back in late spring so we can use them properly as well! Thank you for a lovely stay. Highly recommend!
This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway! Leigh has thought of everything, and the hot tub is a great addition! We have stayed here before, and plan to return next year!
This property is very peaceful and relaxing, great for 2 people wanting to get away from it all. We went to Nashville while we were there, had a great time. Burgess Falls is a must see absolutely Beautiful!!
Clean, well stocked cabin with a nice big deck for relaxing and enjoying the view of the lake. It’s very peaceful and the quietest getaway we have stayed, making it easy to unplug and reconnect. Also it’s minutes away from several small towns and parks.

Life seems to be so complicated these days. To unplug...that's the very reason I purchased the cabins on the lake! I'm so happy you were able to as well, rain and all :-) Please come back when the sun shines...it's heavenly!
Absolutely wonderful stay. The place is so CLEAN and so comfortable, and the property is beautiful. Leigh has thought of it all, which makes for such a stress-free experience. We will be back!
Thank you for a great couple days in your cottage! We loved being able to sit on the porch and enjoy the fire table and watch the geese enjoy the lake. Friends joined us for Christmas day. We were hoping to hike, but the weather had other plans, so we hunkered down and played cards on the porch, and had a lovely dinner. We hiked the Twin Arches the next day and had a great hike with our dog. Everything at the cabin was wonderful. The accommodations were great, and it was such a nice and relaxing place. We loved the peacefulness of the lake and enjoying the hot tub after the long hike. Thank you for providing the space we needed to help process life. It was just what we needed! Thank you!
Great place, clean and quaint for a getaway.
Everything you need to have a relaxing weekend. Close to town and anything that you want to do.
I'll be back for sure
I grew up close to Nashville, but just love the Upper Cumberland and really enjoy to mild summers and the beautiful lake. I love to watch the geese, birds and chipmunks and enjoy watching it rain from the large covered deck. There are so many other beautiful natural sites to see around the area, but if you are like me, you may find it hard to leave the lake!
Why they chose this property
The clear water, the moss garden, stone steps down to the lake, big chestnut oaks and the constant breeze you catch off the water.
