Clarksville is the best of Austin. No kidding. Very eclectic and welcoming neighbors, larger homes, mixed with cottages and apartments, mostly older and charming all in the close shadow of downtown. You can see the skyline from our porch. The who's- who of Austin can be spotted regularly dining, chilling, shopping, walking dogs, and exercising all around this area. Some of the best known restaurants are within walking distance and everything downtown is closer by bike, scooter, or ride share. When I say close, I mean you can't get any closer. Check out Pease Park for a nice picnic, take a 1 mile jog to the state Capitol and back, or explore 10+ miles of hike and bike just out your door...

This is the best way to enjoy a big group all under the same roof. 2 of the 6 bedrooms are a separate casita, great for multi-generational groups. It's an older property and has some vintage charm, but you're in the best possible location for, convenience, fun, and entertainment. The property is a stand alone home with a good sized backyard and has good privacy from the adjacent homes/neighbors.
