The lake house was a great place to relax. It had a cozy vibe, and the outdoor space was perfect for hanging out. The owner was easy to reach and super helpful throughout our stay. We would recommend.

Cozy and Unassuming

Clay was an awesome host and his lake cabin is exactly what you want in a lake cabin - clean, cozy, unassuming and tons of fun. The stand up paddle boards, kayak, lily pad, ping pong table were game changers for our stay - our kids had a blast and we were able to chill out with so much for them to do right there at the cabin. My son fished nearly the entire time on the extensive water front docks. We also brought a small fishing boat and were pleasantly surprised to find a guest boat house with a lift! The large back deck, swings on the boat dock, firepit and gazebo give ample opportunities to relax after a day of fun on the lake.

Growing up close to Huntsville, my family loved to do summer get-a-ways on Guntersville Lake. We still enjoy a few days every year at our little Sauty Cabin and look forward to building memories together every year!

Why they chose this property

We love being on the point with two boat houses getting us literally on the water. Easy to fish and enjoy all the lake has to offer.

What makes this property unique

There's a lot of love that went into our little Sauty Cabin. Purchased on the tail of covid from an estate who had let things go, it was in pretty bad shape. Everything from trees to paint, we have put a lot of hard work into making our own little private retreat for family gatherings.
