This cabin is located down a gravel road with one very steep hill. 4WD/AWD and high clearance is necessary since the gravel hill is so steep and traction is dependent on factors such as weather, traffic etc. There are two very shallow creek crossings when approaching this cabin. If you are arriving during a wet season or wet time, we DO NOT recommend driving a vehicle without 4WD.

Everything seemed greatand was very clean. Enjoyed the coziness of this cabin and the scenic view of the woods it offered. The hot tub was clean and much needed.
Overall this is a pretty cool place—loved the Pac Man and large Connect 4. Master loft bedroom bed is very comfortable. Shower head system is also a very nice upgrade. The only thing you don’t get a sense of with this rental is how close you are to the next cabin, part of your driveway is also their driveway. Location is excellent for Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. The creek and waterfalls behind the property were beautiful and very surprising—how much of a drop off there is. We saw sedans driving through but ideally 4WD or SUV is probably best. Would return!
Cabin was adorable and view was great. If you could figure out something for parking that would be a little better - I realize it's tough there. A smart TV so we could stream/use apps would be nice. Overall great stay, thank you!!

The place was very clean and comfortable! The setting of the cabin was beautiful and the cabin itself was so cute. It was a little hard to get to but that was expected and had little trouble with a truck. We had some trouble with the water only dribbling out of the sinks and shower so that was not ideal but it was ok since we were only staying one day. We reached out to the host about it and she was timely with her answers and tried to get someone out to us that night. Overall, it was a beautiful place and I would definitely recommend staying here!
Host was responsive; however, the hot tub was noticeably green when we got there. Additionally, the upstairs bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable. It also had a noisy cover on it, so sleeping on it was not ideal. I have stayed at many cabins in the gorge, and there are definitely better options for the same price. Additionally, the road to get there is pretty rough so I’d recommend AWD/4WD.
We enjoyed the rustic location, and appreciated the extra driving instructions. Definitely needed a truck to get around those roads. Some extra kitchen towels, paper towels, basic kitchen utensils like scissors/bottle opener would have been nice. We overall enjoyed our stay and would come back.
Super clean and spacious cabin for a small family. Well laid out with a nice hot tub, large TV, good WiFi, fire pit, and great views. Wouldn’t go there without 4 wheel drive and a little confidence. It’s pretty far back a few gravel drives, one steep incline. Beautiful place would visit again!
This cabin was wonderful for our family and our family dog. It was a perfect layout with plenty of room. The cabin was new, clean, and the kitchen was big/clean. We were a little worried about the roads from a previous review, but there were no issues getting to the cabin at all even though it was raining. Location was quiet and peaceful, and close to great hiking trails and good food. We would definitely stay here again.
Our stay was great! There were a couple things that were lacking though. The back door to the deck would not lock, and the freezer was not working. (We brought ice cream that completely melted) We were also expecting a little more privacy. This cabin is situated between two other cabins that are very close. Our neighbors were pretty loud, and super visible. Other than those things, the cabin was as described and we had a good time.
This cabin is beyond amazing. We did get lost trying to find it, but the owner called us on christmas day and walked us thru getting there. Its very secluded. We explored the mountainside and walked down the creek and found a valley. The cabin has everything u need to unwind for a few days. We will definetly be back!
The cabin was very clean, hot tub was nice. We only used one bed but it was comfy. The host had to talk us to the correct cabin, we ended up at the wrong one due to GPS not registering the address just yet. She was very helpful. The roads were treacherous, especially when you met other drivers.
We liked that it was new and cleanon the inside. Convenient to nearby Red River Gorge.
Things that would have help the stay. --Knowing you absolutely have to bring a 4-wheel.drive vehicle to get to the property. A list of the area attractions and restaurants would have been helpful. The cabin is furnished with uncomfortable furnishings couch and beds especially. Hot tub was dirt with a strong ammonia smell and the yard had trash all over. Had these things been different it would be a very nice house and place to stay.

GPS does not work for directions to property. The road is very rough a 4x4 is a must. The sheets were dirty still had pet hair, drool stains etc. After I washed the sheets our stay was enjoyable.
Loved the cabin! Only a couple of suggestions-having hooks for coats and towels would really help. Also there was no toaster which was surprising.
Biggest concern was the directions. GPS did not register the cabin at all so we drove around a lot. More direct directions in the website would be much helpful. The host was very responsive and helpful when we were lost!

Private Getaway location not ideal
We did not know we were off-roading to get to the cabin. The listing did not indicate that we required a 4 wheel drive vehicle (truck or something similar), and we had a lot of damage to our vehicle, which cost us more than this trip to get repaired! Additionally, we had to park about 2 miles away the last day to prevent our vehicle from becoming a total loss. Sure, this place was cute, but location not ideal for our 4 door sedan. Owner should specify in listing for future guests.

Long awaited trip, the hot tub was not cleaned or prepared for use. Host said it would be working. It took hours for maintenence to arrive and tell us is he cant fix it in the morning he would coordinate with host for alternative cabin. Communication between host was not very consistent and couldnt het settled until after 9 when we were finally told there are no other locations available. Quicker responses would had made all the difference. Being that the listing main selling point was the hot tub the host did at least refund me 100 for that reason. The shower curtain was dirty and on the floor. the lawn chairs for fure pit were all broken but one. Communication between host for solutions was drug out,
