"Spacious" is an understatement. We were surprised that we had basically a whole house to ourselves. The accommodations were very good, including large bedrooms, ample linens, and clear communication from Nicole. I would definitely return and recommend this home!

We really enjoyed our stay during Colgate's parents weekend. The house is spacious and exquisitely clean, and in a good location. Nicole was a great host, very communicative and providing great hospitality with freshly baked scones each morning. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

A fabulous stay

Highly recommend! Lovely colonial home with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Just down the road from Colgate University, about a 5 minute drive to campus. Stayed here for 7 days while working on campus. Spacious and quiet, it was perfect!

We had a wonderful visit. The space was welcoming, roomy, and had everything we needed!we loved the fresh baked surprises for breakfast. Delicious blueberry muffins, then great cranberry scones. These made breakfast in the porch delightful.Would definitely stay again when returning to visit Colgate!!

Features a welcoming environment inside & out in a small village. Nice pet-friendly space for couples or a small family. Owners responded quickly & will wash the dishes since there is not a kitchen sink in the guest suite.

This home feels like a tradtional upscale B&B. The rooms a beautiful. We had everything we needed to have a very comfortable reunion weekend. When my friend's husband wanted a break from the activities, he had a comfortable living room where he could relax.The morning muffins and breakfast treats were fresh and better than you expect in a VRBO. We would give it more than 5 stars if we could.

I felt I had an entire house to myself. Just beautiful. Very clean, comfortable and private. Morning scones were a treat. I just wasn’t sure which entrance to use. Loved the red poppies. I went home and preferred some for my garden.

I originally hail from San Diego but currently live in the Hamilton area, which is my husband's hometown. Prior to that, we resided in Hawaii, where I worked as a hostess at an organic farm and circus school. Since we moved to New York, we have owned a restaurant and a food truck, and we recently bought an 1850 farmhouse, which we are gradually restoring. My hobbies include gardening, cooking, yoga, and hosting.

Why they chose this property

Earlville is a peaceful village located just outside of Hamilton. We decided to settle here primarily because of our lovely house. As someone who grew up in an urban environment, I can confidently say that this community is a breath of fresh air. It's common to see neighbors walking their dogs or jogging, and the village is currently undergoing a renaissance, with staff and faculty from the nearby university being attracted to the area.

Our house is conveniently located down the street from the Earlville Opera House, hosting various acts such as The Wailers, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Hazmat Modine, and several local Americana-style musicians.
