Very good

The location was great for being able to travel to both Colgate and Morrisville. There is significant mildew in the en suite shower and some mouse droppings one of the cupboards that should be addressed in the near future. Otherwise, the amenities such as cutlery and cooking pans and plates and glasses etc. were all excellent. Beds were very comfortable.

The house was fairly cluttered, no check-in instructions with door code, but sliding glass door was left unlocked but the entry. There was mold in the master shower. Not a lot of instructions on how to use the house. Kitchen was well equipped. Great views of the Reservoir. Very stock with supplies. Outside areas needed to be more organized and free of leaves and yard debris.
Large home - plenty of space for dining and just hanging out. Steep incline driveway hampered any thoughts of carrying the one kayak down from the house. Note that you must cross the road, then down very rickety stairs to the dock. Good for large groups.
A lovely spot by Colgate and next to a reservoir! Saw loons and other wildlife. Had some issues with the cleanliness of the place upon arrival and had to go get some supplies that were not available. With some care and attention, this will be a lovely weekend getaway.

Relaxation MUST
Our entire family had such a wonderful time here at the lake. We were so sad when it was time to leave. It fit the 10 of us easily and no one was tripping over anyone else. The library was perfect, the couches are cozy, and the game choices worked out great for everyone (5 adults and kids ages 2-14). The kitchen had had all the essentials and the washer and dryer on site were perfect. The outdoor patio provides for the most amazing view of the lake, especially with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Nick, the host, was so kind and quick to respond to the couple of questions we did have. We will absolutely be back for our next family trip!

The home has great potential, unfortunately for us we must have had an unfortunate experience. Upon entering the driveway we were concerned we had the wrong house as the grounds were unkempt. We walked in to a full refrigerator of other people’s stuff, sink with dirty sponges and used soap in the bathroom. House felt like we were walking in minutes after the previous guests left. We tried to enjoy ourselves but again were disappointed when the appliances they said were available were not (iron , hair dryer , tv) . Then the TV didn’t work, there was no option for music , and the house had no AC (this was mentioned in description, we just missed it) . Unique experience for sure as this must be an active household that gets rented out, because every cabinet , drawer and closet was filled with personal items. Views were outstanding and space was perfect for a group of nine . So as we said , lots of potential

House is infested with mice. Owner knows but rents it anyway.
