This vacation rental home includes the entire top floor, wraparound decks, backyard, heated pool/hot tub, waterfront dock, and poolfront room on the ground floor. There is a lower level unit on the driveway side that is rarely occupied and completely separate with no shared spaces (Pool, Hot Tub, Dock/Canal and Backyard are 100% private & yours for private use). Located just minutes to the Gulf of Mexico, this is a hidden gem close to Florida`s best beaches, shopping, Mercato and more. Your oasis in paradise awaits!
Smoking permitted outdoors only, down by the dock. No smoking indoors. No pets/food/glass or beer caps in pool or hot tub. No large/loud parties. Everyone must bathe before entering pool/hot tub. DO NOT ADD CHEMICALS in pool or spa. No pets allowed without prior approval and pet fee. Quiet hours after 9:00 pm on weekdays and 10:00 pm on weekends. Additional propane for the BBQ grill is not provided, but Walmart and Publix are right down the street for easy propane exchange! If any issues with the pool or spa we need to be notified upon check in to confirm who caused any issues or you will be held responsible.

My stay was more than I had expected. Great location, right on the canal, access to kayaks, and minutes away from some delicious restaurants. The host was had excellent response time. I would 1000% recommend.

Rats in and around the house

We can definitely not recommend staying at this property.It was one of the worst experiences of all our stays that we contracted through VRBO.We had lots of rats around the house during the entirety of our stay and had to cleanup their poop on the terraces and beach chairs everyday. One night the rats managed to come inside the house. A window panel of one of the terrace doors hadn’t been installed. One night the rats managed to get in and were in the bedroom and living room and even on the kitchen counter. So we had to throw away a lot of food and clean and disinfect the rooms. When we raised these issues with the management company, they said they had never issues with rats at this property. It’s hard to believe given the location right next to the river and the amount of debris in the basement.The house has a lot of maintenance issues and is quite run down. You should definitely not stay there if you have a dust allergy.Overall, it’s not very clean. The chairs and carpets were outright filthy.We had to raise so many maintenance issues with the management company. They did send a maintenance person to fix broken door knobs, broken dishwasher, etc.The maintenance person was there about six times and we had to coordinate their work.The management gave us a 10% rebate.We come every year to this area. There are many nice and well maintained properties there. This isn’t one of them.
