Villa Miramar is a 5000 Square feet – 465 Square meters immaculate tropical luxury villa located in the Mayan Riviera. It’s comfortable, spacious living spaces inside and out is the perfect place to share special moments with your friends and family while having a vacation of a lifetime. This villa is located in an area of the Caribbean which is known for fun, adventure and relaxation. The perfect location for fun in the sun. Whether you are out for the day exploring the area which is full of cenotes, theme parks, and beautiful beaches or staying at your villa with a beautiful 2-level swimming pool just steps from your patio door, enjoying the tropical garden in your own back yard or relaxing on the hammock under the palapa on the rooftop terrace, you are guaranteed a perfect day. The villa offers dining opportunities both inside and outside with covered outdoor patio area and comfortable loungers and couches for enjoying either the sun or shade. A pool side bar and grill awaits for a family gathering and or use the large screened-in area just off the kitchen for another great space to enjoy entertaining or relaxing while enjoying the Carribbean light breeze.

Villa Miramar accommodates up to 10 adults, plus 2 children. Four of the bedrooms are located in the main house and the fifth in a separate studio apartment with its own entrance. The bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are elegant with comfortable beds to make your stay heavenly. There are four safety deposit boxes for your convenience. If you are travelling with a baby or young child, there is a high chair and a small fold-up baby mattress for your use.

Villa Miramar has four satellite TVs. A 55 inch TV awaits you in the livingroom and three other TVs in the bedrooms. There are two netflix boxes. Free wifi internet is available so you can keep connected with your friends and family while on vacation. There is a sound system with speakers inside and outside which you can hook-up to your computer, smartphone or tablet.

Villa Miramar offers a fully equipped kitchen with a center island work place.
The granite counter tops and the wooden kitchen cupboards are beautiful. Drinking water is provided.

To make your stay at Villa Miramar stress-free, there is maid and pool/garden service six days a week to keep the Villa, pool and garden in perfect condition.

There are two private parking spots for your vehicles. A good recommendation is rent a vehicle to get around easier but it is possible to get around with local transportation and taxis.

Great Family Getaway!

The villa was perfect for our 2 families and our nanny to stay for an extended vacation. Private seperate rooms each with their own showers. The kitchen space was great and our chef was able to cook some unbelievable meals. Hanging around the pool and going for walks into the village were amongst our favorite activities. The kids had a great time and we made memories that will last a lifetime.

Excellent stay!

Clean, quiet, comfortable and well-equipped. Easy walk to the water and el Centro. Backs on to a golf course so able to do some bird watching!

Your house at Puerto Aventuras is awesome, very clean, very good infrastructure, well maintained by the staff and the location could not be better. Near the main parks xcaret, xplor and xel-ha. We sure will recommend for friends to stay at Villa Miramar and hope we can make it again next year.

Perfect getaway

We have stayed with the owners multiple times at their other properties and this was our first time at this one. As per their photos, the house is spacious and immaculate. It is cleaned and serviced daily by their delightful staff and the lovely owners are on site to greet and address any need you may have while in Mexico, whether it be transportation, food, or adventures. We will be definitely be with them again in 2026!!!

Great family getaway

Our family had a relaxing time at Villa Miramar. There were plenty of space for 9 adults in the house and out on the patio (even plenty of lounge chairs by the pool). Great location as it is close to all the restaurants and shops in the main area of town. Lorraine was very helpful answering our questions and making arrangements prior to our arrival and during our stay. Valerie, the property manager and rest of the staff was also very helpful during our stay. I would highly recommend this place and would consider returning with our kids.

Perfect Villa for Mexico Family Vacation

We had 3 families stay at Villa Miramar and had a great time. Lorraine was friendly, responsive and answered all of our questions from the initial booking until our departure. The villa itself was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The kids especially enjoyed the pool and the adults enjoyed all of the space. Everything was kept clean throughout our week stay by the maid and gardener. The gated community felt safe and offered a variety of activities that met our entire parties needs. If you are looking for a relaxing low key vacation this is the villa for you. We hope to come back again in the near future. Thank you!!

Perfect Vacation Spot

Villa Miramar was the perfect destination for our family of 12 to all come together for the week. The house was clean and the grounds and pool were gorgeous. It was very easy to communicate with the owners and the house manager. They took care of all our needs. The house cleaner and grounds caretaker were polite, helpful and hardworking. The town of Puerto Aventuras was a real gem. We rented a gold cart and we’re able to zoom anywhere we wanted. It was a delight to be able to watch the dolphin encounters while either sipping on coffee or enjoying an ice cream. We will definitely be returning.

One INCREDIBLE week with family at Villa Miramar.

Family, 10 of us spent a beautiful week at the Villa. It is the perfect way to celebrate. With the amount of space in the house and yard, there was room to eat, swim, play, chat etc together or to go off into a private area to be alone. This is quality through and through. The housekeeper was unbelievable. Everything was so clean. Perfect for 10 or less. Family or couples. So close to the marina with multiple shops and restaurants. I cannot say enough good things. Thank you Lars, Lorraine, Mitch and Val. We will be back.

Family vacation

We all had a great time at Villa Miramar, especially the children in the pool. My grandchildren ranged in age from 10 months to 10 years and the two-depth pool worked for all of them. The location is great - close to everything but not in the middle of the bustle. We suggest renting a golf cart, like we did, to zip around town. We felt safe in the gated community of Puerto Aventuras. The property manager stopped by everyday and the owner on several occasions to check on us. A couple repairs were needed during our stay and they were dealt with promptly. The Maid's Breakfast each day was delicious and got our 11-person group off to a relaxing start to the day. The four bedrooms were spacious, each with a king-size bed and on-suite bathroom. We definitely recommend this property, these owners, and their staff ..... and Pelican Point for at least one evening meal!

Nice place for a family reunion

The place is nice and and clean and in excellent overall condition, and good location near the beach and restaurants. We had a great time for our family reunion (13 people). The sleeping arrangements were a bit tight for all of us, with two of our kids having to sleep on extra mattresses on the bedroom floors. This was fine, but the issue is that the house is advertised as sleeping 15, and we were charged an extra $35 per night per extra person beyond 11. This is not clear from the site and was communicated to us only after we had made the reservation and paid the deposit. We were still very happy with the overall experience, but wish we hadn’t started the trip feeling a bit cheated.

Beautiful villa. Great vacation !

It is very difficult to add to the many great reviews already submitted by previous guests. From start to finish during the booking process, the owners were very easy to contact and always responded in a timely manner. When we arrived the property was exactly as advertised and described. A few very minor issues over the course of our 1 month stay were dealt with immediately thanks to the local management team - Valerie and Mitchell. Special recognition of the in-house staff - Tina, Miguel and Carmelito - they were fantastic. They keep the house, pool and gardens impeccable and are discreet at the same time. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Puerto Aventuras community - lots of amenities, clean and safe. A nice alternative to the bustle of Playa del Carmen. We took advantage of the 9 hole golf course and liked the convenience of the nearby restaurants. We look forward to a return stay and would highly recommend this villa without hesitation.

Excellent house in a great location

Our stay at Villa Miramar in the Puerto Aventuras resort was fantastic! The house is inviting, well appointed, and provided more than enough indoor and outdoor space for our family of 7 adults to have our own space yet come together for meals and general socializing. The kitchen is large and well stocked with dishes, cutlery, and cookware. The outdoor pool is phenomenal, with Jaime (groundskeeper/handyman) sweeping the patio and cleaning the pool daily. Tina, the housekeeper, cleaned our rooms, washed dishes, and kept us in fresh pool towels daily. Tina and Jaime were there every day however it did not feel intrusive as they were very respectful and kind. Valerie, the manager, was amazing. She greeted us on our arrival and made herself available throughout our stay to answer any questions, arrange for transportation, etc. Valerie also offers a few different menus for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner that she will come and prepare for you for an additional fee. We booked her for a dinner menu that was deliciously authentic. Highly recommend booking one of her meals! The house is a 10-minute walk to the ocean (there is public access) and to multiple restaurants and shops within the resort. Recommend having a beer and a fresh Pina Colada at the LaraLuca restaurant, near the Dolphin Discovery. We felt very safe walking within the resort at night. There is a large, well stocked grocery store about a 20-minute walk from the resort, with plenty of taxis to take you back to the villa with your groceries for about 70 pesos (plus tip). There is a taxi stand within the resort, or you can rent a golf cart for use within the resort. All in all, a fantastic home, fantastic staff, and a great place for a truly relaxing vacation.

Wonderful House

The house manager, Mitchell, met us upon our arrival. The house is absolutely beautiful. Mitchell gave us a complete home tour and informed us of any important details. He also provided a cell phone that we could use to contact him directly if needed. A few things did come up during our stay, we did phone him and he was at the house within ten minutes addressing and remedying the issues. The house and pool area were better than they show in photos. We were a group of five adult couples and each of us had our own private bed and bath. The main living area is not air conditioned, but positioned in order to benefit from the pleasant breeze. Each bedroom is equipped with its own air conditioning so each couple could make it comfortable for themselves. The bathrooms are all spacious. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking - many sets of dishes and cooking utensils. Lacking were things like - foil, napkins and condiments of any sort. Betty, the maid, is amazing. She seemed to find a way to work around us without much notice. She kept things very clean and orderly. Even with her lack of English and our lack of Spanish if we had any needs, she figured it out and satisfied them. The pool/gardener guy did a great job as well. We did ask Betty to do a load of laundry ($10 charge) and she very willingly did it for us. Lorraine and Lars were great to work with from the start until the end. One really helpful thing they did was to provide the House Book before our arrival. This was a huge benefit. We even had the pleasure of meeting them during our stay. Without a doubt we would stay at Villa Miramar again and would highly recommend it to others!

FANTASTICO!

I live on the East Coast of the United States and historically for my birthday it is usually one on the coldest days of the winter or it snow or we get a blizzard. So in October of 2014 I made up my mind I would not be home. I needed to be some where tropical. My search led me to HomeAway. After seeing pictures of the Villa I cautiously sent and inquiring e-mail about availability. I received a prompt and friendly reply to my inquiry. Shortly there after I made the deposit, and as the time drew closer and closer to my 50th Birthday celebration I started to get anxious,...what if its a scam. what if the place looks nothing like the pictures.... I soon realized thru a series of communications with the property owner that I had nothing to fear but fear itself. Every question I had was answered, thoughts concerns questions that never crossed my mind were addressed and as time passed I moved from anxiety to anticipation. I could not wait to go on my 50th Birthcay with my family. Finally, Wednesday January 20th arrived and we were on our way. A long day of travel and we arrive @ the Villa. Words simply cannot express the beauty of this Villa. Large, airy, clean, natural light, furnishings were modern and the property well maintained. Not only was it better than the pictures posted! The staff was courteous and friendly. They were on point and extremely accommodating. The property manager was most accommodating, making recommendations for things to do, paces to go. Location! Location! Location... the Villa is centrally located an easy walk to the public beach, to the center of town very accessible. Sunday, January 24 a monster snow storm walloped the East Coast and our flights were cancelled. We asked the property manager did he have a recommendations for a hotel etc. Not only did he have a recommendation for another a place to stay he made calls on our behalf and transported us to new condo. A beautiful place, beautiful people which allowed us to create memories to last a lifetime. Certainly a place I will revisit again in the near future.

Home is very nice. Beds were comfortable. Can't really bake in oven it is gas and doesn't go above 200 c. Pans in kitchen are mostly needing to be tossed, teflon is missing so not safe to use. had to stagger showers to get enough hot water to shampoo otherwise turned cold before done. only bedrooms are air-conditioned so by mid day house was very hot and humid. House manager was not reliable most of the time.We learned quickly that we could not depend on her. when she checked us in she she checked out. We walked down to the resort a few blocks away to get help with taxis and questions. always had drinking water and new container was brought daily. We did buy ice at supermarket for drinks only 1 ice try and we were 8 adults. I can't think we would book thru VRBO again. They do not offer any type of money back so with covid you would be out your money.

I also received a lovely message from your daughter telling me how much they enjoyed their stay at the villa and the wonderful memories they made on this trip. The brand new oven has been checked and the heat in the oven is not reaching the correct level. Thank you for letting me know. We are getting that fixed. We have 2 large water heaters so this has also been checked. We have never that a problem with this before. I am also going to make sure there is a list of important phone numbers so the guests have this information on hand. There is a list of numbers in the House Book we have in the Villa. I wish that you would have told us about these issues while you were staying at the villa so we could have fixed them immediately but I am glad to hear that these issues didn't affect on your holiday. Our goal is to make our guests have the best experience in our villa. Thanks again for staying at our Villa. We all enjoyed having you stay at the villa. Todo espectacular!

Fuimos un grupo de 10 amigos, 5 parejas! Desde el principio hasta el final, no pudimos dejar de comentar lo espectacular que era la casa, la comodidad de la misma! Supero nuestras expectativas!!!! La casa en sí esta muy bien distribuida, los cuartos espectaculares, la alberca siempre limpia, todo impecable, la cocina muy equipada, nunca nos faltó nada, siempre tuvimos disponibilidad de toallas limpias para llevar a la playa o usar en la alberca. La limpieza es algo realmente que quiero destacar, cada rincón estaba impecable! Lorraine, desde la comunicación en cuánto efectue la reserva, como las personas encargadas estuvieron siempre al pendiente de nosotros, super atentos a nuestras necesidades y consultas. El barrio Puerto Aventuras nos resultó muy bueno, la verdad se encuentra muy bien ubicado, ya que estás cerca de Tulum (35 min), Akumal (12 min), Playa del Carmen, nosotros fuimos a distintas playas todos los días y se encontraba tan bien ubicada que siempre resultaba cómodo. Lo mejor es alquilar un auto para movilizarse con mucha facilidad. Enfrente de la entrada de Pto Aventuras hay un Supermercado super completo dónde realizabamos las compras. Y dentro de Pto Aventuras hay farmacias, oxxo's, cafe's etc. Así que muy cómodo para salir de alguna urgencia a ultimo momento!! La playa del hotel de Puerto Aventuras se encuentra literal a 5 minutos caminando y nos pareció muy buena especialmente si vas con niños, ya que tiene como una bahía que resguarda el agua de olas etc, entonces es casi como una alberca, muy tranquila! Una playa a 10 minutos muy linda para ir es XpuHa, recomiendo ir! Sin duda tenemos ganas de regresar a la casa, pasamos unos días espectaculares, no hubo nada que no nos gustará de la casa!! Muchas gracias Lorraine y a todos los encargados de que la casa estuviese siempre impecable!! FUE UNA ESTADIA DE LUJO! =)

Perfect Family Get Away!

We were beyond pleased with the accommodations, floor plan, pool, and ease of access. The Villa was beautiful, well-appointed with lots of chairs and tables for eating and conversation. The bedrooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet even if others were outside or in the pool. It was such a wonderful setting for our group ages 4-70! We were able to visit while any or all were in the pool. Maid and pool service were such a bonus and with such sweet people. We would recommend this to others and would love to come back again.

11 of us traveled to Villa Miramar to celebrate life long friendships and the year of turning 50. This property was perfect! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was impeccable! Can't wait to return.

Beautiful Villa in a Lovely Community

Our family stayed in this villa for 10 days over Christmas. It was exceptional. Can't think of anything that was lacking. The staff (housekeeper and gardener) are helpful and friendly. Most of the time you barely know they are there. The community is lovely - thoroughly enjoyed strolling along the marina, trying out the different restaurants and shops. Definitely recommend this property.

From the time we arrived until we left, we received service above and beyond what we could have ever asked for. Beautiful villa and the staff had the place clean the entire time. The extra services offerd with the cook and grocery shopping were such an added feature. Thanks for the memories. We will be back.

This is a great home for a family vacation.

From the minute we drove up, this villa was everything as advertized. We received a warm welcome from Valerie and a great tour of the villa as well as the best place to order pizza. Waking up the first morning and looking out to the beautiful manicured yard and pool was wonderful. Our family of 12 spent a lot of time around and in the pool, especially the grandchildren. The housekeeper Tina and Heli (gardener/pool), took excellent care of us. The Villa is centrally located and you can walk almost anywhere. Lorraine, Lars and Mitch made sure they checked in to ensure that we had everything we required. We would definitely return for another visit and we would highly recommend this exceptional Villa to our family and friends.

This a beautiful and luxurious property!

We loved our time at Villa Miramar! The home and property are gorgeous! Lorraine and Lars were so helpful, along with Valerie, the manager. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to come back again soon! Puerto Aventuras is a lovely town full of wonderful restaurants and bars. Great home for a family vacation or a large group!

The house is so well appointed. It is beautiful with all the granite and tiles...very spacious! Our family of 10 spent a wonderful week in this property. Tina and Heli, the housekeeper and gardener/pool keeper, were beyond awesome! Valerie, the property manager, was on call if we ever had a question. There are lots of spaces to hang out, eat, sit around the pool, etc. It was an overall great experience, and our family highly recommends staying in the Villa Miramar!

After coming to the Riviera Maya area and Cancun for more than 20 years for my holidays, I now try to spend half of the year here in Puerto Aventuras. It is a wonderful, safe, and friendly gated community. I enjoy renting out villas and condos in this area so others can experience this amazing place.

Why they chose this property

It is in the heart of the Riviera Maya. Close to most of the cenotes, theme parks, adventure parks and Mayan ruins. You have your own 5 bedroom Villa with a large private pool. Puerto Aventuras has a lot to offer. A well equipped marina with a lot of different boats. Snorkeling, diving, fishing, spear fishing, fun catamarans and boats to just go out and have a fun time. There is also a wide variety of restaurants and bars around the canals. Here you can watch the dolphins, sea lions and manatees swimming around as you stroll by or have a bit to eat . White sandy beaches with kids friendly water, where you can snorkle right from the beach. All in less than 10 minutes walking distance from the Villa. Puerto Aventuras is also a gated community, so it feels very safe all day, all night. There is great weather all year round, and the fact that you can be on the beach all year round.

What makes this property unique

The moment we walked into Villa Miramar we fell in love with it. The unique architecture of the Villa with a beautiful manicured front yard and walkway to the Villa under a flowering pergola makes you feel very welcome. Once past the rod iron gate you come into a cozy courtyard with a large, fantastic screened-in sitting area. As soon as you open the front door, you have the amazing view of your own pool and tropical garden. This view you can enjoy from the gourmet kitchen, dining area, living room and main floor bedroom.The entire Villa enjoys plenty of wonderful natural light coming in from huge windows, sliding doors and sky lights. The outdoor living spaces are fantastic in Villa Miramar.The private backyard has an expansive open deck with a large 2-level pool which is the perfect spot to enjoy the wonderful Mexican weather morning, noon and night. Beautiful, huge palm trees, local flowering bushes and other greenery give you a very private back yard. You can watch and listens to the tropical birds that often visit our garden. With well placed lighting, this transforms into a beautiful spot in the evening as well. The backyard is equipped with everything you will need to host the perfect pool party. There is an outdoor shower, wet-bar, gas barbecue, covered dining area, comfortable loungers and other outdoor furniture. You can enjoy the view of the pool and tropical garden from the 2nd floor balcony as well. Villa Miramar has a roof-top terrace which gives you more outdoor space to enjoy the Caribbean breeze, relax in a hammock or watch the fireworks that often take place in Puerto Aventuras. This is also a terrific spot to relax and enjoy a massage. Our Villa has high ceilings throughout, amazing, fine marble on the floors, walls and in the bathrooms, beautiful lighting inside and out of the Villa, and a gorgeous chandelier. Workmanship, materials and design are top notch. With our staff of a manager, full time maid and gardener we take pride in our Villa.
