Welcome to “The Up” Cottage one of 6 charming cottages, each newly-renovated and thoughtfully decorated for your comfort. Step inside to discover beautiful hickory hardwood floors and modern, tiled bathrooms, as well as your own private deck with a grill for outdoor dining. “The Up” cottage is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage featuring Queen Size Master Bedroom, Twin and Twin over Full bunks in the additional bedroom. Our living area has a queen size sofa sleeper. This unit with comfortably sleep 8. Stunning views of Paw Paw Lake from inside the living room or from the deck.

The cottage was nice and the hosts were responsive. We thought that there would be lake access, but there was only an area to walk to look at the lake. It would have been nice to have information on beaches and how to get access to Paw Paw Lake, area amenities, etc on a printout at the cottage so we did not have to bother the hosts with questions. Overall it was a good vacation and we were happy to be able to bring our dog and enjoy time at Paw Paw and Lake Michigan.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Heron’s Nest. Check-in was easy and location was great. Communication was excellent.I did have to request more toilet paper, trash bags and dish soap — all items that we shouldn’t have to ask for. The requested items were delivered within the next few hours. Knocking down to 4 stars due to the slightly misleading listing of being on Paw Paw Lake. It was across the street. Overall I would recommend!
