Great place to stay!

This weekend we beautiful home as my group of 10 visited Boston to participate in the Run To Home Base! This house made a great home base for all of us with easy access to the T and then throughout the City! The home had plenty of room and very comfortable beds! The kitchen was great to make a big breakfast together and the home was very very clean! The owner was very receptive and quick to answer all of my questions! I would book this house again in a second! Thank you! Paul W.

Family stay for wedding

The house is very spacious, but it was not stocked for a group. Our group had 9, but the house was advertised as able to accommodate 12 people. There were only about 5 coffee cups and maybe 7 glasses, so we could not all drink coffee at the same time in the morning. The kitchen was large, but did not have very many cooking supplies. The upstairs rooms had no place to hang clothes. There was no decor, and the furniture was cheap and uncomfortable. It was not what we expected for this cost.

Solid stay in Boston

Stayed here for 2 nights with 9 others. All of the bedrooms had double beds and futons, as well as additional futons throughout the house. The beds were comfortable for our stay but were tight to fit 2 adults. Futons varied in size and weren’t comfortable at all for sleeping so not really great options if everyone needs their own bed. House is very spacious. The only 3 callouts to be aware of that were included in the listing: I didn’t see a grill available; there was no deck furniture; and while the basement is finished and pictures in the listing show it is empty, there were several boxes for storage in one of the basement rooms. The host communicated to me that the basement should only be used for the purpose of doing laundry. Overall, I thought it was a good experience and our group enjoyed the stay.

Illegal VRBO?

Upon arrival to the VRBO we were told by the neighbors to our left and right that this was an "Illegal" VRBO and that were not supposed to there. This made our entire group feel uncomfortable and was a very rough start. After we told the neighbors that they should speak to the VRBO owner since we are not from the area and can't comment on the legality of VRBOs in Boston, they proceeded to bombard us with noise complaints at 4pm in the afternoon. My guests were out of the back patio enjoying the Friday afternoon and were greeted by a Boston policeman, who had to admitted we didnt seem like a problem and couldn't hear us or any music when he walked up, but that there had been noise complaints made. We resolved to move our conversations in the house -although it was beautiful out - and converse in the cool basement, only to discover that the picture advertised in the listing did not match what was in reality. The basement was full of storage boxes, although the picture on the listing showed it wide open. Since this was the coolest part of the house, but very crammed because we resolved to stay out of the house as much as possible in an effort to avoid any additional issues. I was embarrassed to have to tell friends and family members we should avoid returning to the house on Saturday and had to ask many of them to use a public restrooms instead of returning to the VRBO. The entire experience put a damper on the weekend. I would like my money refunded.
