Just a short 200-yard walk away, you can enjoy the white sand beaches of the Gulf, located along Scenic South Walton County Hwy 30A next to Gulf Place! 4BR/4.5 bath Townhome located in quiet Santa Rosa Beach that accommodates up to 13 guests and has beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico. You will also have access to 2 swimming pools (newly refurbished), hot tub, sand volleyball area, tennis courts, and propane gas grills for your use. Covered parking is provided for two vehicles. Additional uncovered parking is available for extra vehicles beside tennis courts.

Good time!

Overall it was a great place to stay! We stayed at the beach everyday all day. Kids loved the pool when not at beach and quiet neighborhood! Would stay again!

Great stay

Area was very nice and clean. Beach was a short easy walk away. Beaches were not very crowded and the water was crystal clear. Condo was very roomy, plenty of bathrooms for all!!

Florida vacation

It was a great vacation spot for our family. We all had our own space when we wanted it and we were together most of the time. I've already recommended it to some friends and they booked a spot for next year. They were very quick at responding when I would contact them as well. Thanks for a great week!

Amazing beach experience!

My family of 13 visited here for a week and had a wonderful experience. So much room it didn't feel like there was that many of us at all. All of the rooms were exceptional and comfortable. There is a short walk to the beach but it was not an issue. You were also right down the street from several restaurants and shops so you didn't ever have to drive unless you are wanting to venture to Panama or destiny. I would definitely rent here again

Dolphin Tales

Property is nice on the outside; clean pools, manicured grounds, nice hot tub. Easy parking, and access to beach and local restaurants are within walking distance. Our particular unit definitely needed: 1) the carpet cleaned ( we paid a pet fee and our pet does not have accidents so why not use this money to clean the carpet? 2) a fresh coat of paint 3) clean set of stairs to unit 4) clean living room furniture or put throw covers over to make it look clean.

It's big and spacious

I liked the property it was close to the beach 3 min walk not far at all....the property was enough room for all 15 of us...the only thing is if you have ederly or toddlers the stairs can be a little much but that's just FYI.....my only problem or concern was it had roaches not overwhelmingly bad just like every once in a while one would crawl across the counter but other then that perfect for a family getaway....and the pool by us was closed due to appropriate activity in it and we were worried to even go in after that so there's that not our landlords fault but overall we would definitely rent this place again.

Lots of potential but dealt with many problems

Our stay had all the potential to be a lovely vacation. The townhouse was in a great location and has lots of space but there are a few things that needed attention. 1) There were cockroaches (many of us were very uncomfortable both sleeping and eating because of that. Also, there was no pantry space so leaving pantry food items out on counters was very unappealing.) After we complained, did not feel VRBO response was satisfactory. 2) AC/heat didn’t work (we followed the directions on the wall) we were pretty warm/hot most of the time - had to open windows and doors to get airflow to cool down. 3) There were dirty towels folded up like they were clean and ready for use. 4) The place hadn’t been cleaned well. The soap dish in 2nd floor bedroom with double beds not clean. Also, dirt and cockroach first sighting was above doorway on second floor as well. 5) There were multiple broken items - chairs on upstairs balcony broken and not usable - living room valence down and just sitting out (looked like it was waiting to be repaired) - downstairs towel holder comes off wall - toilet seat in 3rd floor king bedroom broken and just placed on toilet - missing vertical blinds in king bedrooms facing balcony so that too much sun heating up room throughout the days. 6) The pool was not well kept nor did the hot tub work. And my final note, not a complaint, but more of a suggestion. You should upgrade to a smart tv in living room so people can stream from their devices.

Beautiful location, but host never responds…

Upon making the reservation for this property I noticed we did not get an address or even check in information beside knowing check in was at 4. I assumed we would receive all that information from the host the day of the reservation but we never did. I had to look up the property on google myself to find the address and once we got there after driving 6 hours, we still did not know our unit # or code to get in, etc. We called the host MULTIPLE times and even left voicemail, but no response. Finally, we looked up the rental group that owned Dolphin Tales or whatever and called them, and they also did not answer, but they at least responded to my voicemail and called back. I explained our situation and how the host won’t answer my calls and didn’t even leave us any info, and they were able to look up our reservation and give us our unit # and code to get in. After a whole HOUR we were finally able to go inside, get settled, have dinner and head to the beach. The property itself was beautiful and we even made good friends with the neighbors who were also renting in the area. The rooms were very spacious for our group of 15 and the pool was also great. The washer didn’t work though, but we didn’t really need it anyways. The walk to the beach was closer then we thought, and Santa Rosa Beach was absolutely stunning!! We will be coming here again next year and hopefully to this location since we had such a good time. We only hope that our host will respond or at least give us general information next time…

Great for the Price

We enjoyed the property. It was great to have the pool and tennis court in such close proximity. The only drawback for us ( because of knee problems) was the upstairs bedrooms. We had never stayed at Santa Rosa, and we loved it. The beach was much less crowded than Destin. We would stay there again.

Plenty of space but needs updates

Dolphin Tales has all the space your family needs! We appreciated having a bathroom in each bedroom, and the kitchen is very well-equipped. The walk to the beach is very short, and there are many shops and restaurants a couple of blocks past the beach access point. We were not expecting to find the cleaning crew on-site when we arrived to check in at 4:00. After returning from the grocery store an hour later, they were still there, several of them smoking outside and spray painting their car. We asked them to move their vehicle from the covered area, so we could pull in and unload. After inspecting the interior, we found many large stains on the carpet and debris that hadn’t been vacuumed. We called the property manager, and someone was sent out to vacuum and spot clean the stains. The mattresses, pillows, and some bedding need replacing. Some sinks had good water pressure, and others barely had any. Two of the shower heads spray very hard, and there’s no way to adjust them. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Dolphin Tales and would consider staying there again in the future, if the aforementioned issues are addressed.

spring break 2020

this spot was great. wanted to be in a less densely populated area and although there were plenty of people it was mostly families. No high rise buildings, beautiful homes, great beach access and pretty quiet. The home was great - perfect for more than one family. Stairs were fine for us - but should be considered if you have older family members.

Overall a little older than what pictures let on. A little dirty. No broom to sweep up the sand. Location good, volleyball court good, Tennis court good, but needed score board. One hot tub worked and the other didn't so it was very overcrowded easy walk to beach and to the square

Great spot

Moving to local area and brought family and friends, 9 total and fit very comfortable. So easy to get to beach and restaurants. The only thing I wish there was more seating in living area and better coverage on patio. It rained and we couldn't sit outside.

18th Birthday/Family Beach Trip

Great condo as advertised. A/c worked great - separate unit on top floor. Super hot water and pressure in all showers. Loved having bathrooms in every room. Lots of steps but with the great location it is to be expected - not steep or hard to navigate. We would rent a golf cart next time bc of the amount of stuff (chairs/tent/cooler/etc.) that we hauled to and from the beach. The walk is fine if you aren’t carrying anything. Lots of shops and food options within walking distance. Goatfeathers was great. Short drive to Seaside = awesome food trucks options.

Family Escape

Santa Rosa Beach is a hidden treasure. If you truly want relaxation away from the touristy craziness of Destin, Santa Rosa is the place for you. We loved the beach and the overall location. The condo was a bit outdated, and needed a good carpet cleaning and mattress evaluation. I did not realize there were three flights of steep stairs. We had 14 people and had plenty of room. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves, but definitely not a five star property.

Great place to stay away from home

First my communication with the owner, Gary, was excellent! Any question or concern I had, he responded immediately either through email or text. Very friendly and hospitable. Everything was clean with plenty of linens, and anything you needed in kitchen items. Pool was clean. And the house is only a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying again!

Great Unit - clean, convenient and quiet

We had a great stay. We were relocated because of Hurricane Michael and needed somewhere we could quickly land for a while. We were responded to immediately. The unit was clean and close to shopping and the beach. The neighbors were all super friendly. It was quiet but just a short walk to restaurants. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed and the property manager was kind and responsive during and after our stay.
