The cabin was cute and cozy. I just wish it was cleaned a little better before we got there. We found whiskers on the back of the bathroom sink and several areas around furniture were dusty.there was no dish drying rack amd we bought ice cube trays that we left for the next guests Overall was agreat rental. The location was perfect .would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very roomy, beautiful yard, quiet neighborhood! Lots for the kids to do, they loved the air hockey! The host was great, we had a little hiccup the first day, and he handled it immediately, was very nice and easy to get ahold of! I was a little nervous because there was no air conditioning but we opened the windows and it was perfect. We would definitely book here again
The Cabin was clean and spacious for 8 of us staying there. The one drawback for us was the water source was well water so we didnt use the cabin to shower or wash clothes.
Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. Property manager was great with checking in. The location can't be beat, although we were disappointed that the trout pond near by is no longer open to the public for the kids to fish.
Our stay at the cabin was fantastic! It was nestled in a beautiful wooded area, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The cabin itself was cozy and well-equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing and taking in the stunning views from the cabin. Overall, a perfect getaway spot for anyone looking to unwind in nature. Highly recommend it!
My wife and two kids stayed at Cedar Cove in August 2024. The house was very clean, communication with the host was outstanding. Our kids loved the video games and air hockey table. The beds were very comfortable, overall we had a great stay at this house. The location was good, very nice sandy beaches were a short drive away.
We had a wonderful stay at Cedar Cove cabin. The Michigan spring weather was a little bit rainy, but we still had such a great time exploring the coastline for rocks/Petoskey stones! My daughter and her friend really enjoyed the air hockey table and basketball games, and we had planned to have a bonfire with S’mores, but the weather had other plans and we made the most of it and still had a great time!!! There are plenty of local places to eat and sites to see!
The house was clean and spacious! They provided all we needed including 2 kayaks and a canoe. We had one issue which was the garbage being torn apart by animals, they really need a couple garbage cans with lids. Other than that it was fun and we had a great time kayaking.
My family and I had a wonderful weekend. The space was very comfortable for my family of four. My kids loved the “game room” especially! There was plenty to do both inside and outside the cabin, so don’t feel discouraged if the weather doesn’t cooperate during your stay. The short walk to the lakeshore was well worth the view at the end! Be sure to look through the welcome binder for a list of local dining and attractions.
No air conditioning, nor ceiling fans to combat summer heat. House ran upwards of 90 during the day and 80 at night. Several windows did not have screens, stopping us from utilizing all the windows in the house for a breeze. We had to purchase fans in addition to the three small fans the host provided. Rocky beach was listed, however not suitable for swimming. 200 yards out was still knee deep with more rocks than sand. Grass was unkept full of weeds, geese droppings and although back drop of water inlet was pretty mosquitoes stopped us from enjoying any backyard activities. Interior of house looked like it had went through recent renovations and was nicely kept. House provided a game room which my kids loved. There was a nice assortment of dishes to use and the host provided games to play. House was very spacious and rooms were large. Master bedrooms bed was so large I was able to sleep with my two younger sons, which was nice. I feel overall this location would be better served in the fall or winter months.
