We wanted to be close to the national park. House qas as described. We arrived late so finding the house address was the hardest part due to it being dark. Place was clean and updated
The house, yard and location was perfect! Had my son’s Bday party there. Kitchen was well stocked, bedding comfortable and the hotub and sauna were an added bonus. The house was clean and the host was amazing. Great communication. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

The house was clean and inviting.
The hosts are super helpful and reply to messages and questions fast.
The Sauna and Hot Tub were so relaxing.
Would have loved to use the fire pit but it poured rain/snow mix the whole time we stayed.
I will definitely book again, it was a great little weekend away.
Great place to cook Thanksgiving dinner with family. Well stocked for the most part but could use more silverware. Wonderful quiet location and perfect spot for outdoor adventures. We went snowshoeing and also hiking on river.
Our family stayed here to visit Mount Rainier National Park. We were 45 minutes from the Paradise entrance. We were able to be at the visitor center by 6:30 to begin our hike.
This property was well equipped. And everyone raved on how well they slept on the new mattresses. We would highly recommend!!
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!! TERRIBLE HOST AND PROPERTY
I have used VRBO,I have never had an experience like this. So sad as I was on a vacation with my children. Check in day arrived I was reminded no less than 3 times to take the garbage out once I arrived!! Seriously!! Strange request. We arrived an hour prior to check in,I texted the host to see if we could enter the property. No, not allowed but I could take the prior guests garbage out! Once we entered there was a large load of items in the dryer, but again we had to take care of this but couldn’t enter the property an hour early. There were gnats/bugs all over the pillows/bedding upstairs. I understand some of that, you are in a forest location but this was awful! We filled the refrigerator with our groceries,be SURE to purchase everything you need prior to arrival the town has no grocery store!!!! Around 10:00pmthe power went out..My son and I drove around in the dark trying to find WiFi to call the host. The host sent a message about the generator and a how to YouTube video. I called the host and he said don’t worry it will be back on in a couple hours, he said “at least it didn’t go off in the morning while you were trying to make coffee” REALLY!!? Host said call it and load up and find a place to stay he will refund our stay of 4:00pm-10:00pm ..4th of July wknd!! 8 hours later power came on! We had no air conditioning, no window upstairs to open because the air conditioner was in it. We LOST ALL OUR GROCERIES. Host stated he would refund the night NEVER HAS!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We strive to provide a 5-star stay for all guests, and I want to address your concerns.
First, I apologize if our check-in process felt strict. We have to ensure that every cabin is fully cleaned and prepared for incoming guests, which is why we aren’t able to allow early entry while our cleaning team is still working. Guests staying on Thursday evenings are asked to take the exterior trash can to the curb to be emptied by our trash service.
Regarding the power outage, unfortunately, the 4th of July weekend saw a widespread area outage that was completely outside of our control. Fortunately, the outage lasted only three hours from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am. I understand how stressful it can be—especially while traveling with family. We tried to offer solutions, including a refund option if you chose to leave, and I regret that this did not work out as you had hoped.
We follow a rigorous cleaning protocol that includes deep cleaning between guests, detailed photos submitted after each clean, and a quality check by our operations manager. I’ve reviewed the photos and quality reports and can confirm our home consistently meets 5-star standards. We’re proud that this level of care is reflected in the many five-star reviews from other travelers.
