The host was extremely welcoming and helpful. The location and proximity to the main town of Granbury was a huge plus. And the property was very pet friendly.

Thank you, Tracey and Chuck for staying with us. Glad you enjoyed the cabin with your dogs! Hope you visit us again soon. Your host , Andrea
Beautiful stay! Great place! Both rooms had king beds which was a great treat since we had 2 couples staying for the weekend! Our Jack Russell “GiGi” loved having her own yard to roam! Thank you fo allowing us to borrow your little piece of heaven for a couple of days!
We loved this cabin! Two separate rooms with restrooms makes traveling so much easier. We needed some family time, we were able to cook here and enjoy, the front porch was fantastic, and could hear the rain on the carport roof. The host is kind and responsive, and our little dog was very comfortable here. 15 out of 10 stars!!!

Peaceful place in a wooded area yet close enough to town. The cabin had all needed amenities and is well taken care of. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for the lovely review. please come back again soon!
We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at this property. The weather was pleasant in Nov and we spent a great deal of time on the front porch just soaking in nature. The front yard is fenced and this worked well for our little dog. The property was clean and fully stocked. King beds in both rooms. Overall a 5 star experience!
This is a wonderful place to stay for a week or weekend get-away. Spacious, clean, and quiet. Great kitchen and large living area. Deck is perfect to enjoy your morning coffee or in the afternoon with an adult drink. Can’t say enough about how kind and accommodating the owners are. Would definitely stay here again, only longer next time!
We stayed for 2 nights and it was very relaxing. The cabin is very clean and the beds are so comfortable. The property is fun to explore and very nice and quiet. The fenced in yard was perfect for our 3 year old son and dog. The location is perfect, far from noise but close enough to shops and restaurants and parks. We are definitely planning to come back.
We stayed in both cabins, and both were perfect. Everything worked well, and both seemed very new and well maintained. Nice and secluded land, but very close to any shopping we needed. Kids enjoyed running the trails cut through the cedars. The great fenced front yard was ideal for our giant hound, and handy for us. We will return for another short, nearby vacation.

About the host

I enjoy being in the country where it is quiet and peaceful. This property is across the street from our 20-acre property. I want others to enjoy the tranquil setting of these cabins. The cabins sit far away from the street with heavy cedar trees, so its private and not visible from the street.
Why they chose this property
This is a beautiful country setting. The homes along the court are on larger acreage tracts, therefore, it is quiet, peaceful and private. We also have wonderful neighbors on this court.
What makes this property unique
This property is on 14 acres with a pond, a three-stall horse barn and corral. The log cabins are "real" log cabins built over 40 years ago. They have been completely renovated yet we kept the charm of the cabins. Each cabin has a large, covered porch to enjoy nature, and just sit back and relax.
