Air-Conditioning is optional. We understand that there a lot of you out there who prefer the wonderful Hawaiian breezes and since all of the rooms have doors and ceiling fans you shouldn't have to absorb that cost. If you would like to add it please let us know, its nominal and very easy to do.

WAIKOLOA VACATION RENTAL WITH YOUR OWN PRIVATE HEATED POOL!

Avoid the crowded, noisy, shared wall and amenities world of staying in a condo and rent your own resort.

4 bedroom 2 bath home with views of Kohala, Mauna Kea and the Pacific Ocean. Huge private yard with beautifully maintained mature landscaping and HEATED PRIVATE POOL. Each room has its own entrance through French Doors which lead to the upper or lower Lanai. Gourmet kitchen with contemporary stainless appliances. 10 minutes down to the beach and less than 5 minutes to golf, supermarket and restaurants.
Relax on the one of the two Lanai's and enjoy an evening drink or BBQ with friends and family.
The downstairs master bedroom has a king bed, slate tile floors, a custom oversized slate tile shower, french doors and ceiling fan. The double closet has plenty of shelving and storage for all of your belongings.
There are 3 bedrooms upstairs...all of which have queen beds, ceiling fans, hanging closets and French Doors leading to another huge Lanai. The property comfortably sleeps 8 but can accommodate 10 for an additional $25/nt per person.
The day room has a convertable futon, more French Doors, ceiling fans and a second flat screen tv with a dvd player. It's a great room to let the kids watch a movie in the evening while the adults entertain downstairs. We also supply Igloo/coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, and snorkel gear and beach toys.
Views in all directions make this a very special property. Please don't forget to check out our reviews, you won't be disappointed.

You will see bugs in Hawaii and it has nothing to do with cleanliness, just island living. We spray the property regularly to help keep them

Family island getaway

Thanksgiving Week Stay

Great house for a beach vacation

This is a great house for a beach vacation. Lots of beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear and beach toys. House had lots of games and space for the kids. The owner was super responsive and supportive.

Great base of opportunity

The residence was the perfect size for our family. There were more than enough amenities (televisions, snorkel gear, towels etc...). We visited the entire Island and coming back to the residence was easy because of it's location.

Great family home in Waikoloa Village

Our family shared this rental with another family during a July trip to the Big Island. The space was very spacious, well kept and stocked with all the essentials + extras that made our stay here very carefree. We’d definitely recommend this home if staying on the Kohala coast is in your plans.

Retirement trip with family!

My husband and I just retired and decided to bring our kids to Hawaii to celebrate. This home was a great home base - plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the pool and all the beach equipment provided. The kitchen had all the basics plus more! Great place - thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

Wonderful vacation

My three sisters and I spent 8 nights at this wonderful property. The kitchen is well stocked and the house had everything we needed. The backyard is fabulous – very private and beautiful. We enjoyed the large patio and sitting around the pool. There was plenty of lawn furniture and tons of beach gear available to use. The neighborhood is nice and was very quiet. The upstairs did get a bit warm in the late afternoon but cooled off nicely after opening the windows and turning on the ceiling fans. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful relaxing vacation!!

Just what the Doctor ordered!! Home was very close to all the nice beaches on the big island! Wonderful 4 bedroom home. Very nice master bedroom! Pool was to die for, very nice!. We pretty much lived in there! Very private setting. Great grocery store nearby! Owner was wonderful on accommodating our needs! We'll be back soon!

Perfect for multiple families with kids!

We really enjoyed our recent stay! We had two families traveling with kids. The back yard and pool were a huge bonus and kept everyone entertained during our "down" days. The house was very clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We have traveled to the Big Island many times and stayed in various accommodations- this is our new favorite! We look forward to visiting again next year. Thank you!!

Fab family reunion

Andrew's house is great for a relaxing family vacation. We had 4 adults and two teens, and really enjoyed the private backyard, grill and gorgeous swimming pool. A rental car is of course essential -- Waikoloa Village does feel a bit remote. But there is a very convenient grocery store close by, and the teens were huge fans of the shave ice at the resort down the hill. Enjoyed evening cocktails on the lanai and watched the sunset. Highly recommend this rental!

Amazing house, and location

Pictures do not do justice to the house and backyard! House has everything you need, and the privacy of the yard surprised us all. Family of 9, 3 generations in the house and plenty of room. The breezes front and back cooled the house, and we never used any air conditioning. House was immaculate when we entered, and the location was perfect. Pool was well used by all of us, especially the grandchildren. Would stay again.

Waikoloa is da best!

This house was AMAZING!!! If you are wondering if the pictures are to believed - BELIEVE! This house is the most beautiful home I've ever stayed in. I can't believe what a great deal this rental is. The beach equipment, the pool, the kitchen everything saved us money over renting a hotel. The location was perfect for all the best beaches and hikes. It was plenty of room for the ten of us. Thank you Andy for providing such an awesome home base for our trip. We hope someday to return.

This trip was to celebrate a good friend's 50th bday and visit family on the island - lots of people and logistics - and the house was PERFECT! Very comfortably accommodated a family and friends, clean and had everything we needed. We are also big fans of the relatively central location of Waikiloa Village. Pool was a huge asset in keeping kids happy and occupied while adults sit back and relax. Tons of beach stuff available. Great music and movie collection! Mahalo for wonderful Island hospitality :-)

Perfect Home Base in Paradise!

We had a wonderful stay at Kohala Coast. The house was the perfect size for our party of 10. There was room to spread out, but also plenty of room to gather for large family dinners each night. We enjoyed the pool daily, and spent a ton of time on the outside patios. The location was great, super close to the grocery store, and not a far drive to beaches and restaurants. The owner was very helpful. I contacted him a few times throughout the stay with questions and such, and he always replied promptly and was very helpful. We'd definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting the beautiful island of Hawaii.

I chose this location because of the neighborhood, the cool evening temperatures, and the close proximity to golf, stores, and the beach. Its an easy drive up to Waimea or down to Kona with all the resorts, shopping and great Kohala restaurants being right along the way.

What makes this property unique

I love the pool and the private back yard. Great for entertaining or to simply relax. The kitchen has been equipped contemporary stainless steel appliances, ample storage, bamboo cabinets and a full compliment of cooking utensils, you won't be disappointed.
