** 4th of July 2026 will be a two week stay from 6/27/26-7/11/26 ** Built in 1937, Summersalt combines quintessential New England beach house charm with modern updates and fun, unique touches throughout. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you might need to cook at home, including a gas range, Instant Pot, crockpot and air fryer. Warm summer evenings invite cookouts on the grill and meals on the patio. With access to the private Lee Manor beach just a 2-3 minute walk away, you'll be able to soak up the sun from a lounge chair, swim in the gentle waves of the Long Island Sound and search for seashells along a private and pristine section of shoreline in Madison.

We had an amazing stay! Everything was clean and the house had everything we needed! We loved taking the kids a short drive to the surf club beach to swim and play at the playground and walking around the neighborhood.

Excellent Stay!

We had a short weekend stay at Summersault and wished we could have stayed longer. The location was sensational, the house was spacious and very well equipped, and Brad and Hillary were very easy to work with in terms of scheduling and use. Highly recommend this for families big and small!

Perfect house with kids close to the beach

This was our second year coming back. The house is perfect for a low-key beach summer getaway with kids. Walking distance to a small private beach, short drive to other “bigger” public beaches. Living space and kitchen are perfect for an extended stay. Our kids love sharing the bunk room with each other.

We had a wonderful week in Madison! It was the perfect way to end the summer. My kids (9,7 and almost 3) loved the bunk beds, the beach and the outdoor shower. The house was clean and cozy. It had all the amenities we could ask for. Brad and Hillary were quick with responses (we were looking for a paddle board for our oldest). Truly a great place for our family vacation.

Perfect Stay By The Beach

Since the summer of COVID our family has stayed beachside in Madison and this year's stay in Summersalt was perfect. The house, lovely touches and steps to the water really makes this a gem. Being both family-friendly and a quiet retreat, we couldn't have asked for more. We highly recommend this property and will be returning next summer.

Prefect getaway

Perfect New England beach house in private community. The private beach and friendly neighborhood was a real treat. I can not say enough about the kids room, multiple sets of built in bunk beds with fun features… everyone got the top bunk! 100% would recommend and we will be back.

Fantastic Stay!

Had a lovely trip for 7 people! *Communication was clear and professional throughout. *House was comfortable, beautiful and well stocked. It rained on our first day there, but we still managed to have so much fun because it was nice to hang at the house (lots of board games available) Would visit again!

Fantastic house

We thoroughly enjoyed this house in Madison, CT. Our family was on a road trip and we stayed here in the middle of the trip. It offers lots of space and the two bathrooms were perfect. While the house is older you wouldn’t know it was it has thoughtful details of tech and excellent cooling on a hot summer day. The age of the house only added to the charm, we never felt like we were never lacking for anything. Thanks for the stay! We would love to come back soon.

Family fun at the shore

My husband, myself and our 11yr old daughter stayed for a week at Summersalt . Fist off, the house is so cute ! Clean, everything you could need was provided. The home is located in walking distance to the private beach . My daughter brought her bike and was able to ride it there everyday. Its a well-maintained small beach . My daughter's favorite part were the swings in the kitchen ! The owners were very responsive with any concerns or questions. We will definitely be booking again.

Summersalt Madison

Beautiful house with a short walk to a private, well kept beach. The neighborhood was nice and the neighbors were warm and friendly. The house was an older, well maintained beach house with all the modern amenities you would want or need. Nice outdoor deck if you wanted to eat outside as well as multiple indoor dining areas. Multiple bathrooms as well as an outdoor shower for after the beach. My 2.5 year old grand niece visited and enjoyed playing in the front and back yards. New beach chairs and other beach accessories, including a wagon were in the storage shed. Brad and Hillary were very responsive but we didn't really need to reach out often. Great vacation home and hope to visit again!
