Great family cottage

My husband and I brought 4 of our kids and son-in-law to the Destin area for spring break. This cottage was so well decorated and clean and homey!! It is the best place we have stayed as a family so far and we have been vacationing for 25 years! We loved the space-3 bathrooms were great for 7 of us. The kitchen was well stocked, so cooking was easy and fun as well! There is plenty of seating so we were able to host another 2 families for dinner one night. All of the kids had a blast playing knock out on the basketball court just across the parking lot from us! Our kids also loved the tennis courts! And our son-in-law brought his slack line which he set up between two trees directly outside the screened patio which all of the boys loved and gave them some time out of the sun. The beach is a short and pretty walk. We loved having our cars right outside the cottage. Soo much easier than being in a high rise condo and having to wait for the elevator to load and unload and hop in the car. Hidden Dunes is super close to the outlet malls and even Destin Commons shopping is not far! Good restaurants are super close too. Traffic was crazy because of spring break, but we felt like we were on the right side of it and didn’t have to battle it too much! The only note we would make is that the master bathroom water pressure is very poor. We had to shower in the kids’ bathroom. But it wasn’t a big deal! Stop by the Donut Hole on your way out. So good and so cute! Wish we could’ve gone more than once!

Loved the cottage. We had plenty to room. Great access to private beach and the tennis club is great!!

Donna/Barbara were very helpful to make our stay very pleasant. The tennis club is very well run Tennis staff, Renee, George ,Quy and Pat arrange good matches for players of all levels every day if that is your desire Lessons are excellent for all levels. Best organized complex I've ever stayed it. I will be returning for many more seasons. If you play tennis Hidden Dunes is for you
