Introducing Bonnie and Lou Jantzen - your hosts! Their story began over 38 years ago when Bonnie and family first came up from southeast Wisconsin to vacation in St Germain. Lou's first time was in 2015, when he fell in love – with the Northwoods as well as Bonnie! As it became harder to find a lake house rental on their favorite lake chain big enough to accommodate their growing family and friends, they decided to buy a lot and build their dream lake house. In 2023, it became a reality and was named Eagles Bluff! And that's not just a name - sit high on our lakeside deck and watch eagles soar above our breathtaking bluff adjacent to the shore.
In 2025, they purchased an adjacent property and renovated it themselves and named it Whitetail Crossing. The name was inspired by the Whitetail deer often found crossing over to the Eagles Bluff property. A connecting and additional driveway provided another private access to Lake Content. But the real bonus is providing even more space for large groups of family and friends to get together for that dream vacation in the Wisconsin Northwoods!

Why they chose this property
We love our friends and family but wanted to get far away from crowds and noise. With 20 private acres, the only neighbors we have to interact with are deer, loons, eagles and all sorts of other native creatures.
