The apartment is immaculate, conveniently located and comfortable. The building appears to have been an old warehouse or factory and the owners have retained some of that rugged look, which we love.The surrounding area is very cute - shops, coffee, restaurants. It’s a nice place to stay for a morning of walking about.The only drawback to the apartment is the varying elevations in the floor upstairs. The bed is a full step up from the floor, which caused some missteps overnight. There is another slight elevation change into the washer/dryer area and another full step up into the bathroom. It’s obviously not the end of the world, but if you have mobility issues or are unsteady, this may not be the best fit.For us, it was perfect and we will definitely stay again!

Downtown Lafayette

Great location just off Main Street so easy to walk to nearby attractions, candy/coffee/ice cream shops! The lodging is one-of-a-kind and up-to-date with fine beds and linens/towels. One thing some people may not appreciate is the lack of windows and outdoor views.

Great stay at a fun location

This was our second visit to Lafayette and we wanted to get to know the town better. Check-in was made easy with keyless entry. The Nest is a fun and unique place to stay in the downtown area within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. There were lots of nice amenities above and beyond a nice hotel, including a fully functional kitchen and washer and dryer available to use, which would be ideal for a longer stay. We definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

Great little place

The location of this little hideaway is fantastic! You are litterally steps away from several restaurants and shops. There's even a cat cafe across the street if you want to play with cats! The one complaint that I do have is that you can hear everything! We heard an entire argument from the neighbors and you can hear the cars that park in the garage when they come in and out. Other than that the property was very clran and also much bigger than expected! The properrty owner was very repsonsive as well!

The property was very, very clean, better than most hotels. The location can’t be beat for Lafayette, with numerous restaurants, coffee, shops, and other retailers within two blocks. We will stay at Burt’s whenever we visit.
