Disliked: Cleanliness
This tiny-cabin has seen better days. There were cobwebs hanging from every corner of the ceiling, pet fur and crumbs in the pull-out-bed portion of the couch, the floor was lifting, chipped, and cracked in many places, plaster coming off the walls, the microwave was so tiny I couldn't make a bag of popcorn in it, without having the bag keep getting stuck, and I found a contact-lens in my bedding when I went to strip the bed for checkout... (I don't wear contacts, nor does my 6-year-old). I liked the outdoors portion of the property, although, it felt more like camping in someone's backyard, than a "private" cabin. Not to mention, the listing said it had a full size pull-out-bed, so I invited my friend and their 6 year old child to stay for one of the nights, and then after the fact, was told that maximum capacity was 2. I guess I missed that part, but, when the owner came knocking on the cabin door in the morning, as my friend and child were headed out- demanding more money, and threatening to cancel my reservation for the remainder of my stay, if i didnt pay up, it left kind of an icky taste in my mouth. I am a quiet, clean, and respectful person, and she made me feel like a criminal being watched. Her husband seemed nice, and wished us well the next day as we were heading out, but that was the only redeeming part of our experience.

You were the worst guest we’ve ever had. I would recommend to other rentals to not rent to you. When you asked to have four guests stay in the VRBO we asked you respectfully not to do that. The rental can only accommodate 2 people. We told you why there is a full sized pull out couch and that does not mean it the entire place can accommodate 4 people. But you went ahead and did it anyways so we charged you more for breaking the house rules. You then asked to camp on the property. Since you’ve stayed the floor has been replaced and interior repainted. I recommend that no one ever rent to you ever again. You are rude, disrespectful, and a liability.
I needed some time; away from home and all the projects and distractions to quietly reflect on a series of losses that had to be put aside while we sorted out all the consequences. A tiny, cozy, isolated room in the woods to gather my thoughts, write them down, and calm the hectic tumult in my head and heart was what I needed, and my remarkable wife found this, booked it, and gifted me the very thing I needed. If you are looking for a simple, reasonably-priced escape from the noise in *your* life, this might just serve. Recommended.
