We really enjoyed the Lake Time! Sunrise over Lake Winnisquam was amazing each morning, excellent hiking nearby, lobster and putt putt right down the road. Fantastic family time. Only three of us but plenty of room for others for a larger or combined family trip.

Beautiful Spot!

The location of this house is beautiful. The lake is the back yard, with no shortage of activities…paddle board, kayaking, tubes for floating , dicks to fish off. 90% of our time was spent outside having fun. House is huge, very old and let’s say eclectic. It was fun to imagine what it was like in its glory, and our kids and grandkids loved it. They want you to go back next year!

Amazing water front, but rundown interior

Great Lake access. Close to main road, dangerous pulling out during traffic hours. Interior is clean but very dated. AC in rooms but the downstairs has very limited AC. Not ideal in the summer months, if you don’t want to sweat all day.

Beautiful house and nice stay

The property is charming, the direct lake access is fantastic, and the house is massive. Close to lots of shops and some really good seafood as well. Highly recommend.

Charming lakeside retreat

This spacious home was a perfect setting for our family reunion: well-equipped kitchen, lots of space on the main floor for visiting; meals, tea/coffee, art projects on the screened porch overlooking the lake. Once settled in, we never left the house or yard except to spend time in or on the lake!

Great Lake house!

Lovely location, easy check-in and check-out, great amenities. House is older but big and comfortable and close to everything. Large back lawn slopes down to a small beach. Fire pit and dock big enough for a 25’ boat. Loved out time there and will be back next year!

very cool

Great, old property. The house is beautiful outside and interior was better than expected. The house has a large yard down to the lake with a private dock. There was a rowboat, kayak, and paddle board that we put to great use. We had a great time. Thanks for everything

Quintessential lakefront property

House has space galore! Throughout our stay the weather was hot and humid. We were happy to have air conditioning units set up throughout the house. Beware though, be careful not to overload the circuits! This was a family vaca to remember!

Old but clean, FANTASTIC views and waterfront location

Initial impression was that it was dark and musty. We were there in summer so we opened the windows. That helped a lot. By Day 2 we couldn't smell the smell and were comfortable in the house. While the decor is old, the upholstered furniture is in good shape and the velvet-ish couches are actually on trend right now. The old magazines were a hit with my husband (maybe part of the smell but so unique!) 1920-something Popular Mechanics and many, many National Geographics from the 60s+. The kitchen is basic but roomy, and the appliances worked fine. They gave a little vacasa intro packet with a few dw soap packets, small dish soap and we had a small roll of paper towels (might want to buy more if you are staying longer than a few days). They gave us several garbage bags, too. The bedrooms were basic but fine, beds were comfortable and a/c worked really well. The bathrooms were functional and updated somewhat, trying to retain some of the charm of the old house. They worked fine but we ended up showering in the fully-updated bathroom in the laundry area on the first floor. The covered porch off the living area and the backyard/lake access were the obvious selling points. The view was amazing. The water was clear near the concrete ledge, there's a little roped-off swimming area and there was a floating pad that my teens played king of the mountain on. We rented a boat from a company 3 minutes away (driving) and drove the boat to the house/parked off the dock for easy access to the house for lunch, etc. The house came with a kayak that IS there - check under the back porch. There was a metal row boat outside near the dock. Market Basket was about 10 minutes away along with a few places to eat. The management company (vacasa) was great. Very responsive (reply to the text they'll send you with all the info - that's who I wrote).

Original Lake front Manor

Large lake front home that fits a large family. With swim platform, dock for a boat and great place to swim. Huge yard with plenty of room to spread out. Updated first floor bathroom with nice washer and dryer. A/c units is all the bedrooms and downstairs to keep everyone comfortable for sleeping. We had a great time with our family! The lake was amazing and having the dock available so we could rent a boat for our stay made this house even better. We would definitely recommend this to a large family looking for a home with dock for a boat! Lots of memories made!

???????? ???? ????? ???? ??? ?????? ...

What do you think of this review? This was a charming lake house, with only the lawn between my family and beautiful Lake Winnisquam. Though we were there pre-Memorial Day we were able to get in the water for a game of Frisby and swimming without freezing. They were able to catch 3 types of fish right off the dock. The dock was well appointed for our pontoon boat, and we all enjoyed time in the sun on the water immensely. There is also an opportunity to drive the boat to food and attractions. The sleeping space accommodated my husband and I and four of our grown children (w/extra beds available if they doubled up). The lake house is close to necessities, including a grocery store, seafood, Deli, pizza places, mini golf and apparel shopping as well as the Tilton shopping outlets. The linens were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The well-equipped country kitchen was easy to cook in with a large refrigerator that held enough to feed us as well.We were thrilled to have air conditioners all over the house, since it got over 90 while we were vacationing.Special memories were created during our stay that we will treasure for the years to come
