Located in Anacortes, this cottage is by the sea. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Deception Pass State Park and Skagit Island State Park, while Anacortes Community Theatre and Anacortes Museum and Maritime Heritage Center are cultural highlights. Jolly Mon Charters and Tulip Town are also worth visiting. Kayaking and scuba diving offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with mountain climbing and hiking/biking trails nearby.
We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage! Very clean and close to everything including shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay again, if the need arises.
Our stay was wonderful. Bev was wonderful, cottage was very clean and comfortable. Bed was so very comfy. Absolutely no complaints except the internet was very spotty but Bev has scheduled a upgrade so shouldn't be a problem in the future. We would stay there whenever we are in the area.
This cottage was cute and clean and close to stores and activities. Because we were visiting family who live in Anacortes, we only used the kitchen for breakfast, but it looked as if it had all the basics we would have needed if we had wanted to do more cooking. This will be our first choice when we come back to visit again!

Thank you for your kind review. Come stay with us again sometime 👍
I’ve stayed here multiple times, for a reason. It’s clean, comfy, cozy, convenient and quiet. Hosts are super easy to contact (though it’s unlikely you’ll need to). Everything you need and nothing you don’t for a single person, couple, or small family needing a working trip, weekend getaway, or home base for an extended vacation.
We were visiting family and friends. We appreciated a quiet place where we could bring them. L.oved seeing the top of Mt Baker and sail boats from our deck. Overall, the cabin met out needs and we would stay again if it was available. E 3
The property was in excellent condition. Great accommodations for a couple or someone with a young child. Highly recommended. The only issue I had was the entry code was not provided in the welcome email but owners were quickly available to address.

Thanks Michael for you kind review and also bringing to my attention that the access code was missing from the welcome guide. I have now been assured through VRBO that the code is visible now! Also, thanks for leaving the cottage so tidy 👍
Loved my stay! Super clean, nicely and thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The location suited my interests: downtown Anacortes (if you like to walk, it’s an easy 3 mile round trip on Avenue R), the San Juan Islands ferry terminal, and close to several very nice parks on Fidalgo Island. The host, Bev, was very nice and I knew she would be available if I needed anything. I would definitely stay here again.
This is a great place to stay. I’m working at the oil refinery and it was super nice being so close to everything and pretty affordable. Bev was communicative and understanding. Just make sure if you have a semi loud car that you park down the street or don’t let it idle to early or too late, out of respect.

We were the first guests at this property, but all the important supplies and amenities were provided. Everything was clean and bright. The bed was comfortable, the living room was a great place to relax, and the kitchen ready to cook!
I love, love, love this place! This was my second stay, and I’m already planning my third (and beyond). Clean, quiet, comfy-cozy, convenient, carefully curated. Perfect for working on the road, extended stay or weekend getaway, HQ for day trips. Just right for singles, one couple, maybe families of three with one young one. Hostess is phenomenally easy to work/communicate with. Can’t be beat!

Thank you Greg for the great review! Look forward to having you stay with us again!
So I booked this property as it was close to my new job location. My wife and I stayed for about 30 days. At no point did we feel like the place was undersized at all. The deck is great to sit out on in the morning or evening and enjoy coffee or wine. Bev and Robert are great hosts. If you need anything just ask otherwise they leave you alone.
As I've said previously, this place is perfect if you're a single traveler, working remotely, or young/small family of three. The location is ideal--close to town and to the road out of town. Cooking/dining setup, restroom, bedroom, separate TV/reading room: all are just right. (Could easily rename this the "Goldilocks Getaway." I love it here . . .And I can't say enough about the hosts. Though I've never had any issues really, communication is so easy and rapid it's like having a concierge. No downside to recommending this place . . . other than it might be booked when I want to come back!
This place is great! No frills, but at this fantastic rate you shouldn’t expect any. Don’t get me wrong—has what you need in the way of kitchen/cooking/dining supplies, sleeping/bathing amenities, etc.
And it’s very cozy and comfortable and convenient. Has everything you need if you’re working on the road or need a “home base” from which to explore. Extremely close to downtown area, and near enough to area attractions like island hopping or whale watching, or Cascades hiking/skiing or even up to Canada!
Hosts are very friendly and easy to reach (though you probably won’t need to).
I know I’ll be back…
