Escape to The HighView.

Centrally located and barely five minutes via water from the Hwy 34 boat launch, the High View is a peaceful retreat in a secluded deep-water slough. Floating dock and space to park the boat trailer. After a chilly day on the water, relax in the hot tub and star gaze. Plenty of outdoor living space with three decks jutting over the lake and large boat house. An inside elevator and outside incline trolley to the boat house ensure everyone can enjoy the lake -- and make hauling the cooler to the boat so easy. Master suite has private deck, large walk in/roll in shower, and office area (remote workers rejoice!) with lake views. Main level is open design with fully equipped kitchen, living area and dining area. Blackstone griddle on main deck lets the chef out of the kitchen and makes whipping up meals a breeze. Lower level is an ensuite queen bedroom with porch access, den with full size daybed and twin trundle and full bath. All bedrooms and common areas have internet enabled TVs. Boat house equipped with gas grill, fish cleaning table, floats, lily pad, two kayaks, two SUPs, and secure storage for your items.
The HighView sleeps nine at full capacity and is ideal for two couples and children or a family get-away with the grandparents.

Serenity on Lake Martin

Wonderful home. Unbelievable views. There’s a lot of verticality to it, but it gave us our steps and workout for the day so we didn’t feel guilty about boating and swimming all day.

Romantic Getaway

House was amazing! The views from inside the house and the deck were perfect! Favorite features were the Master Shower and hot tub! I also must mention the location on the lake was ideal! With a public launch 9 minutes from the house. The owners were great to talk to and were very helpful! We do hope to be able to stay there again next summer!

A Great Getaway

We had a great spring break at the lake! The house had plenty of room for everyone to do their thing! The boathouse was a great place to hang out and relax. The views from the decks were beautiful. The home was great and in a great location on the lake. Thanks for your hospitality!

This was a great place to stay. It was extremely clean, exactly as advertised and the host was very nice and responsive. The information binder described everything you would need to know about the space in great detail and had good local recommendations. Would definitely stay here again! A+++ property and host.

Peaceful retreat

The place was absolutely perfect for us and it was the best place we have stayed while visiting Lake Martin! The location in a quiet cove was serene and the views were beautiful. The owners were extremely friendly and took care of everything perfectly! We would absolutely recommend this property and would not hesitate to come stay again!

Absolutely the perfect place to stay and enjoy some peaceful time on the lake! Amazing views! The extremely well equipped house had so much to offer. The pictures don't do it justice. Auburn football weekend

We loved the house, very nice and very clean. However, we all disliked the lack of window coverings in the bathrooms and bedrooms. It would have been nice for privacy at night and the morrnings were super bright in the bedrooms.

Fabulous fall break!

We stayed at Dara and Mike’s house with our family and a few of my son’s college friends. It was fantastic! House was perfect! Loved the space, the dock, the views, the hot tub, the kayaks, canoe, SUP, all great to keep teens/young adults occupied! We brought our boat as well and the house was convenient to the boat ramp and marina for gas. Dara and Mike were easy to communicate with and we would definitely stay again! Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Beautiful house with amazing views on Lake Martin!

We stayed at this beautiful lake-front property over the 4th of July holiday, 2024. Dara's communication with us was always prompt and very helpful. The house is beautiful and has all the amenities you would ever want...and then some! The trolley down to the dock was so convenient and swimming around the dock area was perfect! From the kitchen to the grills to the bathrooms and the sleeping arrangements...we couldn't have been happier. We will definitely be back and my family wants to extend a huge THANK YOU to Dara!

Very good location on the lake with deep water. I rented this place in December of 2024 because of the high views and trolly system down to the boathouse that would make it easy to bring our stuff down. I was messaged one day before my stay that the trolly has been broke since Memorial Day. If I would have known the trolly was broke I would have found a different place to stay. I understand it was out of the owners control of why the trolly is broke but letting me know one day before our stay was not cool. This place is very high up so with no trolly you are walking 4 flights of stairs to the house.

The HighView is not the usual lake house and if you appreciate modern architecture you'll love it. Additionally, we stand out as the only vacation property on Lake Martin with an inside elevator AND a trolley to the boat house (with wheelchair ramp at dock). Perched on a steep wooded lot, the HighView has great views and privacy, plus year-round deep water.
