Great Studio in Heart of Reykjavik

This is a great place to stay in the downtown area of Reykjavik. The property felt very spacious for being a studio, and is walking distance to whale/puffin tours, nightlife, restaurants, museums, and other excursions in the city. It is clean and the owner is responsive for any questions that come up. The two of us had a great experience, and would definitely stay again when we return to Iceland in the future.

Perfect location!

The apartment had everything we needed. It was the perfect size for my partner and I and could not have been in a better location. We were the envy of all our friends who had booked at hotels elsewhere in the city!

Wonderful Visit - Perfect Stay

It is a very charming and cozy studio apartment, perfect for an adult couple or single person visiting Reykjavik. It is central and even walking distance to many of the main points in downtown. The hosts were wonderful - and made it so easy to check in, stay, and check out again. I was great !

Fabulous stay!

This was a a fabulous place and a perfect location. The apartment had everything needed for our stay and we were able to easily walk to restaurants and shops in Reykjavík. The location was very safe and there was free off-street parking. We especially appreciated the great communications and the flexibility from our host Saeli.

Perfect apartment to explore Reykjavik Iceland

Very nice accommodation. We did not have a vehicle for our 9 day stay and the location is in walking distance of everything you would need. Perfect for 2 people. We can't wait to come back!

Perfect place to stay downtown Reykjavik

Perfect studio for two to spend some days in the center of the town. Everything you need in a phantastic designed and equiped appartment. Very friendly host. I hope we will be there again.

Wonderful guest house in embassy area!

We really enjoyed this home! It was in a great location with easy access to shops and the sights! 5 min walk from shuttle buses and1.5 miles from car rentals! Really a terrific home that had everything we needed for along weekend in Reykjavik! We will definitely rent again! It was perfect!

Amazing Studio in Heart of City

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this beautifully appointed and comfortable VRBO. We immediately felt at home. Saeli was super friendly and very accommodating. The location was perfect for enjoying Reykjavík. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Great Location; Smartly Designed Apartment

Well appointed apartment with nice kitchen, living area, and separate sleeping area. Great host. Just one block to south end of vibrant downtown shopping and restaurant district. So many great places for eating and drinking. Every kind of shop within walking distance. Pickup point for airport shuttle and expedition buses is two blocks away.

Beautiful apartment, thoughtfully designed and decorated. Lots of special touches. The off-street parking made it easy to come and go. Located within easy walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, and the heart of the old city. Arsaell went out of his to help us with an urgent matter. Highly recommended.

A nice time in Reyjkavik

Saeli’s place is spacious compared to our next stop! We loved the bed! Location was terrific- close to everything. Washer/dryer was a bit hard to figure out but we did. The seat cushion in the kitchen bench was a terrible fit but overall that was a minor thing. We would stay there again in a HEARTBEAT! It was quiet, calm, easy access for excursions (Bus stop#1) was only 2-3 minutes away and it had an overhang for rainy mornings. We were amazed at the geothermal heating throughout the whole town.

The place was a pleasant surprise!

We were very excited about our Iceland vacation and so pleased with the apartment that Sæli provided. The building is 100 years old and Sæli has completely renovated it in the past 10 years. It is a spacious studio with super-comfortable King bed, large living room, fully-equipped eat-in kitchen and an extra-sized bathroom with washer/dryer combo. The location is a short walk to downtown restaurants, museums and shoppes. There’s parking for 1 car available. Would definitely stay here again. 3/19-3/23 2023

Fabulous apartment!

We stayed a week at this apartment using it as a home base to see various parts of Iceland. The location is excellent. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk to many restaurants, Bus Stop1 for tour bus pick up, grocery store, Vinbudin, Braud bakery (for cinnamon rolls!). Although a bit further, we were also able to walk to Perlan and one of the great public pools. We also rented a car for two of the days and were pleased with the free parking spot. The apartment is clean, spacious and extremely well designed with all the needed amenities (dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven/microwave, stovetop, fridge/freezer, ample storage for clothing and luggage). The apartment is an independently standing guest house so it is very quiet in a great part of town. The host was very responsive to any questions that we had. We would highly recommend this apartment to others.

This property lives up to the uniformly excellent reviews. Although it is near to downtown, we were never bothered by traffic noise. The unit has everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. We North Americans are always a little baffled by the EU pictorial controls on the appliances, but we managed to make good use of them. The parking spot is a very valuable feature which enhances the value proposition.
