My wife and I are in our late 40's and came to Miami for some relaxation and a little fun, which we found. The condo and its grounds are very well kept up and you will feel safe here. If you are looking for a place to stay that has a pool area with music and parties, this is not the place - the pool area closes at 8:00PM. Not many kids but a few. Not many younger people, but a few. It's mostly older retired couples that either live there or spend the winter months there. The condo is nicely furnished, well equipped and clean; it has plenty of space and again, you will feel safe here.
The bldg is on the ocean but the condo faces the opposite direction. You still get to see the water, with the huge yachts, on the side that separates the condo from the main land area, but again, you don't see the ocean from the condo balcony. It would be nice to see the ocean but honestly, the way the bldg is positioned you instead get to see the beautiful sunset every night, and it makes up for not being on the ocean side. You are on the 7th floor, so that helps some, as well.
There is an underground parking lot, and I would strongly suggest that if you are going out at night to Ocean Dr, or other places around there, to take a cab, with a tip it's only $20 each way - very much worth it.
The owner of the condo is very professional and attentive to you and your needs, it was a pleasure renting from her. I was also pleased at how easy it was to get our deposit back, it only took a few days after we left to get it deposited right back into our checking account.
If I was your friend and you asked me if I would recommend this place, I would say yes, as long as you are not expecting a place that has a lively pool area with music and nightlife - you have to go elsewhere for that.
I hope that helps, thanks.
