Great stay

Location was perfect to west gate Yellowstone and all the restaurants and activities! House was just as listed and we appreciated the easy check out process. Would love to stay here again!

Great place!!

Host has great communication. Home is lovely. Fully equipped kitchen. Quiet. Rooms and beds are comfortable and house is very clean. Easy check in and check out. Location is 10 mins from west Yellowstone and it’s so easy to get into the park. Would definitely come back!

Great place

Very clean property, host was always prompt to reply with questions about the property and area (host goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect). Location was great, took trips into Yellowstone, Idaho, and Grand Tetons. Very spacious house with nice amenities, appliances and furniture. We especially liked all the paintings and decorations in the home. This truly feels like a home away from home. We had no issues or complaints with our stay and any questions were answered promptly by the host.

Beautiful home in a great location

This property is beautiful and unique! Great location with easy access to Yellowstone National Park. We had 5 adults and 3 children with more than enough room. The house had everything we needed.

Overall this was a great property. The location was not too far from the west entrance of the park and the town. The house had a lot of space for teens and the pool table and fire pit came in handy.

Comfortable accommodations for 6-8 people. Great for day trips into the park. Kitchen well stocked with equipment/utensils. Nice deck and grill. Hosts very helpful and responsive to queries.

Beautiful and quiet location

Liza’s place was perfect for our group of four adults and our young kids. We had ample space to relax, cook, talk and play. The firepit was a hit, and the sleeping arrangements were more than adequate. The location is quiet and serene, but close enough to the amenities of West Yellowstone, and an easy drive into the park each day. Would book again!

Great spacious family cabin

This property was easy to find and a short distance from the town of West Yellowstone and the Yellowstone Park entrance. Had a great view out the back and the cabin was spacious and tidy, also there was plenty of parking. The host was very attentive. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful home near West Yellowstone

We had an excellent stay here. The house was extremely clean and stocked with all the necessities. The hosts were great to communicate with and check in/out was super easy. Close proximity to west Yellowstone and the park entrance. My only critique would be the houses on this street were pretty close together but it was still quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Absolutely Amazing!

Property was exactly as listed plus more! This owner thought of everything! Clothes hangers, laundry detergent, zip loc bags, coffee, bug spray, etc. We even had use for spare batteries for one of the fire detectors. The house was amazing! We would definitely book it again!!! Owner is quick to respond and thoughtful. We all lived our time at the property!!!

SPECTACULAR

The home is very beautiful. Big enough for large families. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. My family and I had a great time while in Montana, making memorys in this precious home. We really recommend it. Not too far from town and the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The Lawrence family had everything detailed in their messages & home and made things easy & accesable. We give it a 5 star 🌟 ➕️ (plus)! Thank you!!!

#1 best place to stay near Yellowstone

6 good old friends (ages 65-72) thoroughly enjoyed this gorgeous home for 3 days while touring Yellowstone. Lyz couldn’t have been more helpful. The house itself is immaculate and had EVERYTHING we could possibly need. There are so many little comforts that are provided and warm fresh baked cookies on our arrival (starved after traveling through Jackson,Tetons and South Yellowstone all day) were the ultimate WOW. The beds were all comfortable and it was obvious that most of the house had recently been refurbished. 3 couples were all happy with their bedrooms and each couple had a bathroom to themselves. We even enjoyed playing pool one night! We stocked up on lunch makings from the grocery store in town when we arrived and used Lyz’s coolers to take our food and cold beverages in the car while touring Yellowstone each day. We had coffee & the best pastries from Bear Country Bakery every morning as we headed to West entrance. We loved Yellowstone! Did both the North Grand Loop (went whitewater rafting with the Wild West group!!) and the South Loop. We found perfect hikes and picnic spots while listening to “Travel Story Gaper Guides” audio self tour guide in the car which pointed out the BEST places to stop (one was a beautiful quiet spot on Lake Yellowstone) and we enjoyed local pizza take out one night and ended our last day at Hank’s Chop Shop where we enjoyed awesome salads and Bison Burgers. We can not recommend this perfect mountain home enough. It truly is convenient!!

Perfect setting for a family reunion

This property was perfect for 3 retired sibling couples to reunite. Lionshead Lodge is close to Yellowstone, but not right in a busy tourist town. The house was spacious and immaculately clean, with several areas smaller groups could sit and visit, watch TV, or play games. The kitchen was bright, with room for several to move around at once. We prepared most of our meals there, and found everything we needed. The primary bedroom on the 1st floor was good for my sister with mobility issues. That bath had a shower in a jetted tub, with a bath with a small walk-in shower just outside that bedroom. Upstairs had 3 bedrooms, a king, a double, and twin beds. The bathroom had a walk-in shower. We appreciated the shampoo and bodywash dispensers in the 3 showers. Upstairs had a very nice seating area with big windows with a view of the woods and mountains, a table with benches, and a foosball game. One of our favorite spaces was the back deck, with comfortable seating for a large group, and a nice gas grill. We enjoyed the serene woodsy scenery, with almost no hint of houses nearby. It was fun to watch ospreys in the nearby trees. Our grandchildren enjoyed catching grasshoppers the day they visited, and playing on the outdoor slide and swing structure. We did make good use of the pool table in a room off the entry. We appreciated the ease of communicating with host Liza, the fresh welcome cookies, and the clear and simple check-out instructions. We look forward to a return visit.

We had a great time in Lazy Acres, this spacious cabin was perfect for our annual winter getaway. Everything was clean and ready for us to settle in and relax. The freestanding fireplace made the living area cozy and comfortable.

Hello, I'm your host Liza. My husband Sheldon and I love West Yellowstone. Sheldon grew up here and we met here 27 years ago when I came to work in Yellowstone as a young college student. We lived here when we were first married and then moved away for our teaching careers (we are both college professors). We are finally coming back home to Yellowstone after 20 years away. We have 4 children and love traveling, camping, fishing, hiking, meditating, and reading.
We are so excited to be back in West Yellowstone. We live in the apartment above the garage on the property so if you have any needs we will be available to help.
