About this property

Walking Distance to Airport and Beaches! Carefree Family Home in Gated Community

We offer a carefree holiday for family and friends in our spacious and fully equipped townhouse in Crown Point. Our home-away is located in a gated community, walking distance to the airport, and just a stroll away from popular beaches such as Store Bay and Sandy Point.

After a long day on one of the white sand beaches, try a fresh coconut from a local vendor to regenerate. Feeling for a local snack such as doubles or curried crab and dumpling? The area offers a wide variety of bars and restaurants where you can enjoy local dishes and drinks (read rum). Rather stay in? No problem, the nearby shops have all you need to prepare a lovely home-cooked meal in our fully equipped kitchen.

We love the sun and its warm embrace! But we also love -and need- a good sleep, therefore we have updated air conditioners in all (bed)rooms so you can escape the heat when needed. Another option is of course to open the windows and enjoy the ocean's breeze. The two-bedroom property fits five people comfortably with the option of adding a sixth person sleeping in the living room.

In the Southwestern area of Tobago (around Crown Point), you can find conventional tourist attractions and beaches such as Store Bay, Pigeon Point, Buccoo Reef, and the Nylon Pool. Would you travel further to the center and north of the island you will reach the Tobago Forest Reserve, a protected rainforest with great biodiversity, including the blue-backed manakin, (non-venomous) snakes, hundreds of butterflies, and on the nearby shores the leatherback turtle nests (April-July). All the way (1 hour drive), to the other side of the island, divers can feast their eyes at Speyside. There is a coral reef and three shipwrecks are located around these shores. Other activities on the island include golf, fishing, snorkelling, surfing, boating, and many more. For more information do not hesitate to ask!

Would not recommend this property

This was our worst rental ever. The property had a great location but that is the only positive thing I have to say about it. It was dirty, the sheets and white towels were dingy and stained. We rented it because it listed a washing machine but we waited a week before they installed it. The property manager never came when stated. Ran out of propane for the stove. There was less than 1 cm if soap in the soap dispensers in the bathrooms, 2 roles of toilet paper for a month rental, no dish towels, no kitchen sink plug, no paper towels. Basically they supplied nothing besides dishes and pots and pans. The beds were horrible the pillows were stained. There was a cockroach in the kitchen and a dead one in one of the dressers. 3 hangers in the closet. I would not recommend renting this property.
