We ran away from home..
The layout and accomendations were good. My older husband has ambulatory issues and the steps and shower posed a problem for him. I loved it!
We enjoyed our stay so much! The cottage was very clean, beautifully decorated and provided amenities that we enjoyed! Love Natchez! We even took a drive up the Natchez Trace, a trip we have made many times and dearly love! Also drove to Port Hudson and visited the Mighty Mississippi River there!
My husband and I stayed for our anniversary trip/ my birthday trip! It was the perfect distance from things to do, not in too busy of an area but close enough to walk to wherever we wanted to go. Outdoor seating was very pleasant, home was very comfy and cute. Would stay again and recommend others!

Our favorite place to stay now! It was so quiet, cozy, clean, etc. I could go on and on. It was a cold weekend so the fireplace inside and the fire pit outside was perfect.
Planned a trip with my Grandmother and this was the perfect place. Very accommodating. The house was adorable and the owners thought of everything we could possibly need, including brochures of hot spots in the area. The cozy home was located within driving minutes of great restaurants and shopping and 10-15 minutes walk. There's also lots of historical homes in the same block. We were very comfortable and felt safe here the entire week we stayed. People in the area are lovely. If you're going to Natchez, highly recommend the Creole Cottage!

Creole Cottage is a lovely place to stay whilst visiting the stunning city of Natchez. Set in a quiet part of town and yet only a few minutes walk from the many Antebellum buildings, the museums and bars and restaurants it has to offer. My wife and I enjoyed our stay, sitting out on the front porch or in the back garden. Having said all that, it does have some issues that need to be addressed. After checking in I felt that there was some basic kitchen utensils missing and messaged the contact, later the same day a car turned up and delivered the said items and 4 muffins (apology?) No actual contact was received and no explanation to my other complaints. The Cottage sleeps 4/5 and yet there is absolutely nowhere to put any clothes, no wardrobe, no drawers, just 4 places to hang something and 4 wire hangers to go with them. Any potential storage was taken up with spare stuff, sheets, pillows, that sort of thing or had locks on them.Only 3 wine glasses and a total mishmash of cutlery. No broom or dustpan, should I have broken anything to clear it up. All the garden furniture I had to clean before I could sit on it. This is sadly becoming commonplace in rentals, owners keep taking the money but put nothing back and guests have to just put up with it.I am very happy to recommend Creole cottage but just be aware that you might not get quite what you thought you were.
The Creole Cottage was everything I expected and then some. The home was cozy, so quiet, well equipped with snacks, soaps, dishes… The beds were very comfortable and the claw foot tub and shower were perfect. The backyard was private and welcoming. Please note that the inside fire place is gas, but you will need to bring your own firewood for the outdoor fire pit. Also, there is a kuerig plus a regular coffee pot in the kitchen. We walked from the CC to Stanton Hall, Rosalie Mansion, Natchez Brewing Co., the River Bluff park, and Under the Hill area. Downtown and Choctaw Hill were also an easy walk. We did not bring our pet, but there were many things provided for them also: beds, toys, barrier gates. Besides those amenities, there was no evidence that pets had been in the home. It was very clean.I must brag on CC’s check out procedures. I have never been to a VRBO where the instructions for checkout said “there are no checkout chores”. I commend these owners. When you pay a cleaning fee, you should not have to take out the trash, strip the beds, and put away all the dishes, etc. We cleaned up after ourselves, per usual, but it was refreshing not to have a long list of required cleaning as we left our vacation home. I highly recommend the Creole Cottage. We will stay there again when we return to Natchez.

Great Stay
I normally don't find the desire to leave a review because most places these days are just the same. Now with that being said, we are so glad that we researched other places to stay in Natchez instead of the usual local Hotels. I'm so glad we did because the Hotels in the Natchez area are getting older, the prices continue going up, poor service and the staffs are usually lazy and unpleasant at some the locations. We usually come to Natchez two to three times a year to visit family and over the years, we've noticed the Hotels are falling into need of repairs, unfortunately the owners are only interested in one thing and that's the profits going directly into their pockets and sadly the properties are going down hill quickly. After several hours of researching other options, we found this Charming property in downtown Natchez, it was perfect, Clean, Safe, Convenient, with parking at the front porch. It truly is just like a home away from home and there is no way we'll ever stay at another Hotel in Natchez after finding this Cottage. It is fully furnished right down to the kitchen sink, it has great parking right at the front porch so there's no need to worry about parking, all you need to bring is your suitcase because it has everything you will need just like home. We had a great stay and I would enthusiastically recommend the Creole Cottage to anyone who is tired of the Hotels with no amenities, average rooms, rude staff and not the feel of home. I can promise anyone that is looking for a great place to stay in Natchez Mississippi, the Creole Cottage will be the perfect place for you, your family and your Friends..
