Blue Skies Magens Bay is a luxury villa located on Magens Bay, St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. BSMB is a beautiful St. Thomas vacation rental villa for you just minutes from the world-famous Magens Bay Beach and is offered directly from the owner. Very private in a lush tropical setting on the desirable calm side of Peterborg peninsula, with an exceptional view of Magens Bay. You enter the grounds through a secure electronic gate. Comfortably furnished with four spacious suites and a bunk room separated by the pool and large outdoor deck. The Master Suite has a king bed, large bathroom and walk-in closet; balcony. The Second Master Suite (#2) has a set of bunk beds in addition to a queen; balcony. The third suite is a very spacious, located downstairs with a private entrance, kitchenette, sitting area, and large balcony with a beautiful view of Magens Bay (contains a king and twin sleeper). The fourth suite is also large with a king bed, two sets of bunk beds and private balcony (down a short flight of stairs). The villa features balconies with all rooms, each with an amazing view. Guests love the privacy each suite offers as well as the indoor and outdoor common areas. We have everything you need for the beach and pool (chairs/towels/coolers/etc.). The kitchen is well-stocked with housewares for cooking and grilling. Our wonderful house manager Beverly will greet you at the house and make sure you are all settled in. We also have an optional professional exterior mosquito treatment available for an extra fee. You would really enjoy your stay at Blue Skies Magens Bay!

We have four large suites and a bunk room: king master (sleeps 2), Suite 2: queen suite that includes one set of bunk beds (sleeps 4), Suite 3: king downstairs suite that includes a twin sleeper and kitchenette (sleeps 2-3), Suite 4: king downstairs suite plus two sets of bunk beds (sleeps 6), a bunk room with one set of bunk beds (sleeps 2). The house has a great layout for many people traveling together. There is lots of room and privacy. The layout allows for lots of flexibility with sleeping arrangements. Everyone would be spread out, but not too far :-)

Rates are based on the number of guests and time of year. *Non-rented rooms will be locked. Additional guests can be added at a cost of $67 per night +tax (for full length of rental). This allows us to accommodate smaller groups at a lower rate.

Additional nights over seven are prorated.

Renter must be 27 years or older (children welcome with supervising adults). No college/high school parties or spring break groups.

*Non-rented rooms will be locked.... we grant access to rooms/beds based on the number of paid guests. So for example, you can’t rent and pay for six and bring 10 without paying for the additional guests over the first 6. If more guests decide to join after booking, the rate will be $67 per night per additional guest (for entire length of booking). Let us know and we are happy to accommodate.

Security cameras are on the premises (does not interfere with privacy).

New updated water purification system. New hot water heaters (please conserve water & electricity).

Arrival note: Please honor the check-in time of 4PM unless you get prior approval to arrive later due your flight itinerary (pls send a copy so we can see if there is a delay, etc.). There is a fee of $50 per 30 min after an hour window of your expected arrival to the house. Some guests have landed and then gone shopping and to dinner while someone has had to wait hours, missing family obligations, etc. Thank you for your help!

We care greatly about our guests’ comfort and the villa being in tip-top shape. Please understand with being fully booked, minor things happen here and there… meaning things get broken, repairs might be needed, etc. We act immediately on anything we find or that is brought to our attention. Parts and services on island are limited and might take a bit longer to get. We have been fortunate to find awesome people to help if needed. Still, sometimes we have to be a little patient. Please tell us during your stay if anything comes up. From time to time throughout the year the electricity on island may go out. We have a Generac generator at the house that was recommended and installed by our builder. It is good for cooling off the house and the refrigerator when needed. Since we do not have a caretaker living on the property (for privacy), guests would need to assist with pushing the button to turn the generator on and off (ie for short bits at a time when needed and off when leaving the villa). We also have flashlights and candles. The property is as close to 100% awesome as we can get it. We do and are willing to continuously invest in and upgrade this newer built home. The guest manager, Marina (on island) and owner, Shawna (off island) are available 24/7 to help in any way possible. Our hearts are in this and we feel you’ll be very happy with the home and the service. We are so very grateful for every rental and for the wonderful guests we continue to receive.

Occasionally throughout the year the listing on VRBO will be on hold for a week two while we are on vacation (mostly due to being in the mountains without cell/internet service). We will be back soon and answer all messages/inquiries ASAP. :-)
