Beautiful Lake Retreat

This property is very picturesque. It is situated right on the lake. The outdoor areas are relaxing and enjoyable. The inside is clean, comfortable, and well decorated.

Beautiful, newly remodeled cabin with a great view of nature. Had everything we needed. Host was available and made sure things were to our liking. Short drive to attractions and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Family stay at the lake

We had a great stay, the house was so comfortable, accommodating, well appointed, great location, and clean. The games, puzzles, and kayaks were great family activities. Too hot for hot tub, but a nice extra. The place was so tastefully done. The host made sure we were comfortable and happy.

Exceptional!

This home is just as nice or better than the pictures. It's also well outfitted with everything needed in the kitchen, not to mention a welcoming fire pit with food and supplies to make s'mores. We would absolutely stay here again and the kind host is very much engaged in managing the property well.

Beautiful House

Well equipped house with everything you could need including games (indoor and outdoor) and high quality cookware (love cast iron!). The host was quick to reply to any questions we had. Not a swimming lake but we enjoyed kayaking and fishing. Would return if visiting the area again!

A very sweet Serene Kentucky Lake Cabin

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The cabin is nicely arranged with very comfortable beds. Truly, we slept well all three nights. The owners were very good. Communications were exceptionally easy and ahead of any questions. Check in and check out were very simple. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

Wonderful get away

We had 2 families (7 people) stay at the cabin it was terrific! The cabin was well stocked and clean! Check in was so easy! The hot tub was so relaxing, our group loved the coffee bar and used it A LOT! We had a beautiful day of snow, watching snow fall with the fireplace going and a cup a coffee was absolutely dreamy! Cannot wait to visit again in the summer and utilize the kayaks! We visited the ark and the commute was about 15 minutes one way and a very easy route! Thank you Julie for allowing us to use your beautiful property!

Everything You Need!!!

We were in the area to see the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum and let me just say that this house had EVERYTHING! Not only was it spacious and laid out perfect for multiple couples, the host provided small extras that made a huge impact, especially in the kitchen. The hot tub was a treat in the snow! We were 15 minutes from the Ark and 30 minutes from The Creation Museum and the area was super quiet and secluded for peaceful evenings. I would highly recommend this home for anyone! It was FABULOUS!!

We had a very pleasant stay here. The house was very well appointed and clean. My only negatives is that there was no dock for easy access to the lake and that the hot tub was not available at this time. This is totally understandable as they are adding on a deck. The new deck will be a great feature once finished!!

Blisfully Quiet

Cabin was just as pictured. Julie, the host, was excellent with communication. A plus was having all the light switches labeled and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in each bathroom. Kitchen fully stocked. We saw a mama deer and her baby on the hill behind us. We read, played games, napped and went to the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum and Newport Aquarium. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat facing a lake, this is the place for you. We would stay here again. Cindi T.

Serene KY cabin 5 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband and I stayed at the cabin with our mothers for 5 wonderful days. It definitely reflects its name “serene cabin”. Very restful and relaxing. The pictures of the cabin online live up to real life, with no exaggeration. The new hot tub was amazing. We used it at night, and relaxed to the sound of bubbles and crickets chirping. The host was super helpful with any questions we had , and was quick to respond. Can’t recommend this place enough! If you go there,you will leave refreshed. Also, very close proximity to the Ark Exhibit, and the Creation Museum. I highly recommend this cabin, and want to thank the host for helping us create some beautiful memories!

We truly enjoyed this home! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was provided to make our stay pleasant! Very convenient location if you are going to the Creation Museum or the Ark.

We are a family of 9 from LA, California. We have 7 grown children and we have been traveling with them using VRBO since the early 2000's. We have been so thankful for these homes providing a hotel like experience and the space for us all to be together. We now want to provide this for others in quiet peaceful places.

Why they chose this property

We loved that it was on the lake and so quiet. The green all around is beautiful and so many different birds and animals it has been above and beyond what we dreamed when it was put in our path. The views out the windows are phenomenal! We live in the city so this property is such a beautiful respite and NKY in general is so beautiful. We learned about it through the owners of the house next door on the left and we will be hosting with them so we can provide more space for family and friends to enjoy the Creation Museum, The Ark Encounter, the horse farms or just to get away and spend time together in the quiet.

What makes this property unique

Our home is down a private road which brings added quiet with it. It truly is a get away not just a house in a different neighborhood with some nearby sights to see. The lake is right out our front door across the small private road.
