Sky Creek Cabin; fire pit, mountain views, and hot tub under the stars.
Cabin in the woods with modern amenities has great back yard with a creek & fire pit. Mountain views and private hot tub under the stars. Sky Creek Cabin is stocked with everything you'll need to feel right at home, with modern amenities such as high-speed internet and Netflix. Located at the base of the Cascade Mountains, year-round adventures include fantastic hikes, biking, skiing, rafting. Leavenworth (Bavarian Village) is only an hour away. Pets welcome; the front yard is fully fenced!
Our cabin is your cabin! Please respect the cabin as if it's your own home. We don't allow parties or extra guests not included in the reservation; the cabin sleeps up to 6 with room to bring your well-behaved dogs. Please clean up after them and keep them off the furniture. We ask as part of check-out that you wash any remaining dishes and set them out to dry, and to put garbage and recycling into our outside bins. Smoking/vaping is prohibited anywhere on the property, both inside and outside. We and the guests after you would appreciate it if you follow our rules. If our rules are abused, we may ask for additional reasonable cleaning fees. The HOA also has reasonable rules which are posted in the cabin; any fees incurred for violating HOA rules are the responsibility of the guest. We have an emergency kit on site for those "just in case" moments such as severe weather where you cannot leave the neighborhood; please note that if you use, access, or remove the kit without notifying us, a $500 fee will be charged.
BEDS
One bedroom and one loft each hold queen beds for private sleeping arrangements, with additional sleeping accommodations for two in the queen sofa bed in the living room.
BATHROOM
Bathroom is equipped with towels, body wash, shampoo & conditioner, toilet paper and hair dryer. Walk-in shower with handle bars.
LAUNDRY
Full-sized washer and dryer are available for use during your stay with hypoallergenic laundry soap and dryer sheets for several loads provided.
LIVING ROOM
Flat screen smart TV equipped with Netflix and Fire Stick, board games in the bedroom, and coffee table books provided for your entertainment. A wood-burning stove is in the corner, with firewood provided.
KITCHEN
Drip coffee maker with starter supply of coffee, tea & sugar provided.
Kitchen amenities: Popcorn maker, toaster, handheld mixer, stock pot, roasting pan, microwave, oven/stove, refrigerator. Dish & hand soap, oil, salt, pepper, spices, and paper towels provided.
DINING ROOM
Dining table with chairs seats 4, and nearby counter seats additional 2.
FRONT AND BACK YARD
The front yard is fully fenced (when the gates to the road are closed). The back yard is semi-wooded and great for 4-footed explorers; it has a creek running across the far end and is lightly fenced. The back yard also has a fire pit with seating for 4; firewood is provided.
HOT TUB
Tucked next to the cabin behind a privacy fence is a secluded 7-person hot tub. Snazzy lighting provides a nice evening experience.
PARKING
Gravel off-street parking with room for three cars, vans, or pickups. A Level-2 EV charger attached to the shed provides convenient access for EV vehicles parked on the driveway.
Guest Access
Guests have access to the full .75 acre property, including charming fully-fenced front yard, rear deck with outdoor seating, hot tub, fire pit, creek, and cozy cabin.

The cabin will be ready by 4pm. We have keyless entry and will provide you with a code before check-in.
Check out
Departure is 10am. Check-out procedures are located on the wall in the entry.
For the safety and comfort of our next guests, on the last day of your reservation please:
1. Clean all used dishes; you can leave dishes to dry on the drain rack.
2. Clean up any spills or other left-overs from counter- and table-tops.
3. Remove or dispose of all food brought into the cabin.
4. Leave linens on the bed (no need to strip the beds).
5. Place used towels in the shower.
6. Pick up and dispose of any remaining pet waste.
7. Take out garbage and recycling to the outdoor bins located to the south (left) of the cabin. (Blue is for recycling.)
8. Double-check for remaining personal items (look under beds, tables, chairs, and the couch).
9. Turn off portable heaters and fans.
10. Turn off all lights.
11. Lock all doors and windows.

May Creek Club HOA Rules
The local HOA would like you to know the following rules. Consult the Guest Guide for the complete list of rules, restrictions, and enforcements. All guests are required to abide by the HOA’s rules and are responsible for any fines.
Community Roads
1. The speed limit on community roads is 15 mph.
2. No vehicles may be parked on the paved road at any time.
3. Only licensed vehicles are allowed.
Noise
1. The Community follows the county noise ordinance: quiet times are weekdays 10 pm – 7 am and weekends 10 pm – 9 am.
Animals / Pets
1. County leash laws apply.
2. Dogs must be restrained and supervised, including on private property.
3. Animal waste must be properly disposed of.
Parks
1. Park hours are from dawn to dusk. No overnight parking is permitted.
2. No bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, or scooters are allowed.
3. Children under 8 must be supervised.
4. Dogs are not allowed at the two family parks, but are allowed at the dog park at the end of Mountain View Place E.
Winter:
This property is in a paved neighborhood ½ mile from Hwy 2 . Light snowfall should not impact the stay. Should there be a snowstorm, AWD is recommended, as snowfall on the highway and streets can get deep.
Wildlife:
We feel fortunate to share this space with so much wildlife. Please do NOT feed the animals and keep an eye on your pets and small children.
Power outages:
Staying in the wilderness during inclement weather does sometimes come with an occasional power outage. Usually they are resolved quickly. We provide a flashlights and lanterns, and a selection of blankets to keep you warm. We also have a wood stove! If the power is out for an extended time and you'd like to end your stay early, we will refund you the nights you could not stay.
Emergency kit:
There is a well-stocked emergency kit in the cabin, in a large red crate. The kit can sustain 6 people up to 3 days. The fee for access, use, or removal of the kit outside of an emergency is $500.
Water:
The water for the cabin is municipal and is safe for drinking.
Septic:
The cabin is on a septic system. Please be gentle on it by not flushing anything but toilet paper down the toilets.
Usage:
Please be a respectful guest and neighbor. The yard is great for small gatherings, but ask that you treat our home as you would your own and let us know how many people will be staying during your reservation.
Fireworks and firearms are strictly forbidden. The entire property is non-smoking.
Pets:
We welcome well-behaved dogs. Please do not allow pets on the furniture. Please discard pet waste in the outdoor trash bins. An outdoor pooper scooper is available, and pet disposal bags and a leash are located in the hall closet.

Check-in is self-service; we will send an email with the door code 24 hours before your reservation. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out through VRBO. We are only an hour away and can respond in person if needed.
