I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.

We would definitely stay here again! The steep drive up to the property was a little crazy but once we got to the top and realized how secluded we were it was great. It was so hot in Downieville but the temperature of the room was always comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and the set up was cute. The plumbing, mainly the toilet was a very slow flusher, but other than that it was a very enjoyable stay.
