We checked in and the carbon monoxide alarm was beeping non-stop. Tried to reach the host - no response. The alarm would not stop going off so we needed to leave within 30 minutes of arriving. Have reached out to the host several times and still am yet to get a response and I was not given a refund. Very disappointing.

DO NOT STAY HERE.To begin, we arrived at 9pm due to work and traffic, so were ready to relax. We saw that the 3rd bedroom was locked and not available to us. The "3 bedrooms, sleeps 6" was actually 2 bedrooms and then a game room with a futon made for a toddler. A bedroom is technically a room that includes a closet (there wasn't one). We had 3 adults and 2 middle school aged children with us, so onw adult ended up sleeping on the floor in the game room since the futon wasn’t long enough to fit them.The entire house was FILTHY. I reached out to the owner at around 11:30 to express my concerns but once I mentioned the lack of cleanliness, she ignored me until the next day, AFTER I reached our to Vrbo.The bathroom had old hair in the one sink, pubic hairs in the tub, old towels on the floor, and spit all over the mirror. All of this was documented and sent. The only response that the owner had was saying that "different people have different expectations and definitions of clean" and said the house is professionally cleaned.The fridge had old, moldy food in it. The old salad smelled and I moved all the old food into the drawer in the fridge. The downstairs floors had dirt all over them and old pine needles.The tv room didn't even sit 6 people. There was one couch and then 2 hair chairs that had covers over them. In the kitchen, there were only 2 mugs. The owner said she would offer a partial refund, only to get home and she decided not to, leaving me with a 550 stay.
