It's a beautiful and tranquil setting to relax and take in the nature around you. Very rlaxing. It's a comfortable cabin for 2 people. This was our 2nd visit, and we look forward to staying here again.
The place was great inside, but a bit smaller then what we were picturing before we arrived. The major issue was the amount of mosquitos, which is not the fault of the owners but, did not allow us to take full advantage of the exterior or the river.
Beautiful outdoor spaces. Inside has problems. Many Venetian blinds are broken or difficult to operate. There were few screens so we couldn’t open windows. The A/C was only effective in the room where it was located. The house lacks many things including a pitcher to pour the huge bottle of water into and an electric coffee maker. The French press is inconvenient for more than 1 person. The rust stains in the bathroom need attention. Very unpleasant to look at.The house was supposed to be pet friendly but the owner wanted to charge us for my son’s service dog as well as for him and his husband though the house sleeps 4. They did not come. There are plenty of linens and towels, but they are all over the place. There needs to be some organization. That being said if you are young and don’t mind “glamping,” you might enjoy being here for a few days. A week was much too long. Also I should have taken a look at the amenities and notice what was missing. The house was described as an apartment and as a cottage. I didn’t sign up for a glamping experience.

Beautiful waterfront location, very quiet. There was a problem with the water, so the first night was at the Bouctouche Inn, expenses reimbursed by the company. Excellent communication with managers. Highly recommend.
