This was a great place for a family with older kids—separate apartments gave us space. Great to have a pool and (outdoor) washer-dryer. Upstairs veranda afforded lovely sunset views. Very quiet neighborhood and easy walk to mellow beach and 6 minute drive to town and several restaurants. Overall good experience and owner very easy to communicate with.

What a gorgeous place! The views are incredible. The house easily accommodated 2 families, and our kids had so much fun at the pool. The host was very responsive although the house was great as-is. It was very well equipped, A/C and washer/dryer worked great, and it was super clean. It was truly a wonderful place to stay.

We had a great time! This was a perfect house for us, with 6 people (3 couples). Beautiful view, perfect location, nice pool, comfortable and clean. Sean was fantastic - really gracious host, and responsive. We would definitely rent Hilltop Hacienda again!

The property was just as described. It is definitely on top of a hill. My calves got a great work out! :) The location was great. Beautiful view. Bring bug spray for the evenings. The mosquitoes are tiny but they’ll get ya! We had an incredible time there snorkeling and exploring the island with alllll its beaches, horses, small wildlife. Not all the restaurants were open when we went but the people were wonderful. It is a transportation adventure to get there. With 10 people it was a challenge but my adult kids said the vacay was a 10 out of 10. Sean was a fantastic host and helped us with anything we needed.

Our host was remarkable. He’d call me back within a minute whenever I texted him. It is a fabulous house in a stunning location, but it has been battered by recent storms.

Host Sean was so helpful on the front end determining what to do and how to get to and from San Juan. We loved the place; spacious for 10 of us and convenient short walk to a lovely beach. Definitely rent a car as the best beaches are a 15-20 minute drive. Only surprise were the mosquitos which made some of our outside time a bit more challenging so bring your bug spray.

Sean was an excellent all around host. He checked on us several times during the stay; provided excellent information about tours, car rental, etc; and even allowed me to send a box with holiday gifts to his PO Box to avoid carrying them in my luggage. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a week. We enjoyed the pool and loved the short walk to the beach. I highly recommend this house and Sean!

This spot is just up the hill from a local beach spot, a five minute drive from town, and has a view to die for. The photos do not do it justice. Sean is also a rock star, helped me out when I screwed up my car reservation and hooked me up with a guy so I wasn’t stranded. He gave fantastic recommendations for places to check out, also hooked me up with a boat captain to go check out Culebra. All around stellar human. The rental itself is just like the photos. It’s two floors with separate entrances, which was great for my group as it gave us space to spread out. The pool is immaculate, the place is spotlessly clean, and the location can’t be beat. Rent this place, talk to locals, enjoy the island.

We had a wonderful experience. Sean was great to deal with. His recommendations for things to do as well as contacts was invaluable. The house was very comfortable and clean. There were 8 of us and everyone echoed the same thing, that Vieques and Hilltop Hasienda was the best family vacation in years!

Felt right at home

Cozy, comfy and very pretty. This house was perfect for our 3 couples. We enjoyed the pool, the nearby beach for sea glass hunting, the snorkeling equipment, the view (!), the board games, grilling etc! Something for everyone!Sean was super helpful and friendly and we’d definitely stay here again if we return to Vieques.

Hilltop Ocean Breeze

Dream vacation

Hilltop hacienda was magnificent! The location was super convenient to get into Isabel Segundo and a short walk to the beach. Very quiet and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was fantastic. The patio overlooking the pool was so nice. Can’t wait to come back! Sean was super responsive before and during our stay.

Awesome stay!

Sean was amazing! We had so many questions and he offered answers to all of them. The house was located near town and very accessible to beach, restaurants and grocery store. Thanks for the memories, Vieques!!

Wnderful views of the north coast of Vieques

My family enjoyed pool and the ready access to the beach (two block walk). Access to either Isabella II and Esperanza was fairly easy. Along with all of the beaches on both north and south sides of the islsnd. I would avoid visiting the "bunkers" - expected WWII military bunkers, not storage bunkers.

awesome time in Vieques!

Unbelievable! We love the island and our home and location. Host Sean was very considerate and caring. He did much more for us that we expected. We will be back again next year for 3 weeks instead of 2.
