House is very private and set back from the road. It has a unique design. Teens loved the loft. It’s definitely a work in progress but it’s adequate for a small group who just wants to ski and have a place nearby to sleep and eat.

Classic A-frame
Classic A frame being revitalized. Large ground floor for the bedrooms and fun loft for the kids. Hot tub was low on water and dirty with film. Sauna was not available but possibly a new addition coming online soon. Great location

Place was listed in searches as having AC. It was a swamp cooler and the windows still had storm screens on so you couldn't open them, making it unbearably hot. Water pump gave out on Sunday and he was unable to repair until monday which was pointless as we were leaving monday. I would like a partial refund.
Do not stay here. The place was very dirty, cobwebs everywhere dust, garbage ect. They advertised a working hot tub that did not work, and had debris and a foul odor. It appears they were in the process of building a sauna, so construction material and tools left everywhere. They didn’t even have the decency to mow the tall grass before we arrived. The one full bed collapsed from the weight of a bag being put on the end of the bed making the bed unusable. The one toilet leaked water all over, so that was not useable. Panels peeling off the walls, wires exposed, probably more than half of the outlets and light switches do not work. The entrance of the house that you enter is essentially a storm door and the actual door does not latch, so there’s not very much sense of security. I contacted the host upon arrival about the hot tub and got no response. We only stayed one night after a wedding, so we got in late and had all these issues arise before bed, so I messaged the host after checkout with the list of issues, also requesting a partial refund, and again no response. This is a very expensive rental and it’s so not worth it. Go elsewhere, and save yourself the headache and money. I promise you it’s not worth even a quarter of what you’re going to pay to stay here.

We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, but I would like to address each of your concerns.
Hot Tub: We acknowledge there was an issue with the hot tub during your stay. Unfortunately, our cleaning company was unable to service the hot tub before your arrival due to an issue with their cleaning equipment. We regret this inconvenience, but steps are being taken to ensure this does not happen in the future.
Cleanliness: Our management and cleaning team completed a thorough check of the property 6 hours prior to your arrival, and no such issues were reported. The claims regarding cobwebs, beer can tabs, insulation, tools, or construction materials inside the house do not align with their findings, nor were these reported to us during your stay, as per Vrbo’s policy. Prompt notification is essential for us to assess and address concerns, and failure to do so during your stay limits our ability to rectify the situation.
Bed Condition: The bed in the first bedroom was inspected prior to your stay and was not found to be collapsed or damaged. Again, we were not notified during your stay of this issue, preventing us from investigating or making immediate repairs. Also thank you acknowledging that the bed was damaged during the stay due the to putting heavy weight on it.
Outlets and Lights: The switches and outlets were tested during the property inspection before your arrival, and no malfunctions were noted. Any issues should have been reported to us immediately so we could address them during your stay.
Bathroom Leak: Our last inspection prior to your arrival did not reveal any leaks in the bathroom. This issue was not raised during your stay, which again would have provided us the opportunity to resolve it in a timely manner. There were no leaks detected post stay inspections either. So not sure what specific leaks are you pertaining to.
According to Vrbo’s policy, guests must inform the host of any issues during their stay to allow us the opportunity to correct them. As these issues were not reported during your stay, and since our team found the property in good condition before your arrival, we cannot issue a refund.
Unfortunately, we have noticed that some guests choose not to inform us of any issues during their stay because they are more focused on requesting a refund afterward rather than allowing us the opportunity to fix the problem while they are here.
We appreciate your understanding and regret that your stay did not meet your expectations.
