Beautiful home and neighborhood

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had all the amenities we could possibly need. Loved the short walk to the beach and walking around the quiet neighborhood.

The home was exceptionally clean and cozy. The layout was perfect for all 8 of us. The kitchen was well equipped. We had one issue with a wall heater that was promptly addressed by the owner. The location was fabulous. There are terrific hiking trails within walking distance, and the gorgeous Montara Beach is just a short walk away. It was a perfect getaway!

Beach getaway

Beautiful property just minutes from the beach. The home is comfortable and accommodating and the fire pit is a lot of fun! Very clear instructions and guidance provided from host.

Weekend in Montara

We had a very nice time in this cosy home close to the ocean and great walking trails. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the upgraded linens and towels. The kitchen is functional but a little tight if more than one person is cooking and a microwave would be a great addition. We'd definitely stay again.

Montara is an eclectic community and with it comes eclectic homes. This house is that. I wish I had known there was a connected dwelling that shared the fire pit. Things like remote controls needing batteries, the ice maker not working and no lightbulbs in the lamps of one of the bedrooms. Attention to these small details makes or breaks a vacation rental. More attention to these details need to be done here. There is zero cell service and that is how the coast is. A landline for local calls and emergencies is a must! It’s a cute cottage that suited our needs.

House was great! We lived being a bit outside of San Francisco, near the beach and in the foothills. The house is charming and decorated well. The only thing we noticed was that the furniture was dirty. Maybe think about slipcovers, so they could be washed.Overall it was a superb experience!
