Just a five minute walk to either short or long sands beach. Enjoy ocean breezes from the lovely back deck. Home was built in 1997 with an open concept design. Cathedral ceiling living room with ceiling fan opened to fully applianced kitchen with flat top electric stove,microwave,dishwasher,large new Refrigerator, dining room with sliders to deck and new gas grill.

Nicely furnished with queen-size bed in master, queen size in second bedroom and bunks in third bedroom. Lower level has an additional sofa and love seat ,large chair, another queen size bed & day bed for added sleeping quarters for an occasional guest or two. The laundry room is located in lower level with a second full bath.There is also paved parking for three or four cars.Large yard for outdoor playing.Close proximity to both Long and Short Sand Beaches .Cable TV on 2 levels plus WiFi connection.

The home was beautiful kept up and spacious. The washer-dryer and AC was definitely a bonus!! A short 10 minute walk to York center and short Sands beach. The owners of the home were gracious and friendly. We enjoyed are stay immensely.

Girl’s Weekend

My daughter, my daughters-in-law and myself spend one weekend in Maine every year. We relax, go to the beach and do some shopping. This is one of the cleanest, nicest home we have stayed over the past ten years. The beds were comfy, the living room furniture was also comfortable…Stella was very sweet. The tub had a water leak with the shower head so that needs to be checked out but other than that you couldn’t ask for anything better. I would highly recommend this house. It sleeps a lot of people too…. Chris

Enjoyable Stay

The house was clean, well maintained and close to Short Sands beach, the zoo, shops, church, breweries, etc… It was a wonderful stay with our kids and my father-in-law. The host was very gracious when I reached out and realized I had left one of our twins off the booking and had no issues with it. Overall, we had no issues during our stay. The only hiccups we encountered were the check-in and check-out process. Not a big deal, but enough to be mentioned. When we checked in the owners were still there, seems they were running late. Again, not a big deal but it did delay our check-in and ability to get out to dinner after 5.5hrs on the road. The other was there were no clear instructions on what was expected for checkout. I am used to having a detailed list of what our responsibilities are in terms of cleaning (specially since a cleaning fee is paid). Usually the hosts either leave a list of their expectations or they are published on VRBO. I reached out to the host and after a few texts I was able to mostly ascertain what they expected, so again not a big deal, but maybe just a suggestion to make checkout a little more clear. Thank you to our hosts for the enjoyable stay!!

Quiet spot not far from the beaches.

We really enjoyed Stella's property. Personally, I always prefer properties were the owners use the place, it always have a little touch that agencies can't have. Everything in the house is comfortable, the couches, the beds, the place.

Perfect place for a week long vacation

Wonderful Stay

It was a beautiful week at this home, very brief walk to the center and short sands beach. The owners are so sweet, very welcoming, answered all our questions. We had a family of 5. 2 adults 3 kids under the age of 9 and we had more than enough room. Plenty of dishes, utensils and space in here. The space was impeccable in terms of clean. We can't wait to come back next year. The washer and dryer was a life saver with littles. If your questioning if it's big enough trust me it is. Even enough to have a grandparent come stay for a day or 2. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy this home.

It took a while to get there on Friday due to the snow. The property was beautiful and well taken care of. They had the driveway plowed for us and left wonderful directions regarding everything. We had a wonderful time.

We were charged over guest fee even though property listed as sleeps 8 when we had 7 guests. Zero linens provided. Only 1/2 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no paper towels. Propane tank was empty. Great location, very clean house could have been great had lusting been more accurate.

We take pride in our home that we rent and make sure that it shows perfect for every guest. I'm sorry that VRBO charged you an added fee for your party of 7 of which we reimbursed you. We do not supply paper products other than 2 rolls of toilet paper and hand soap as a courtesy to our guests.We do supply all the cleaning products for kitchen and bathrooms. As far as linens,it specifically states some linens but no sheets.We do supply mattress pads for each bed,comforters,blankets and pillows. As far as propane tank,my husband always cleans grill out every Saturday before next guests arrive and makes sure there's propane in the tank as well as a spare in basement. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with your husband and your family.

Beautiful home near the beach with everything you need!

We have stayed at the house on Ridge Road for 5 years and love it! It is clean, fabulously maintained and has more than all the amenities you need for a great vacation at the beach. It is a 5 minute walk to either Long Sands or Short Sands, has a back yard for the kids to play catch or tag and even a ping-pong and foosball table for a rainy day. My kids talk about it all year long and can't wait to head up to "their" house up at York. I would recommend this house to anyone thinking of a vacation in York

Great Rental, can't beat location and homey feeling

Thouroughly enjoyed our stay at this property this summer. It's about a 10 minute walk to short sands beach where we spent most of our time. The house itself was beautiful, and the foozball and ping pong tables in the basement were a bonus that we weren't expecting. Lots of room and two TVs for kids and adult viewing time at night. Nice patio/grilling area and yard. Highly recommended.

Fabulous place to stay!!

Well kept and very comfortable! You can tell the owners take great pride in thier rental property. There were 4 adults and 4 children in our party and this house was more than accomadating for all of us. The older kids enjoyed having their own space down stairs with T.V. and the ping pong table, while the younger ones enjoyed the large yard to play ball in. It was a quiet, peaceful neighborhood yet it only took a few minutes to walk down to the hustle and bustle of the beach & shops! We will definately visit again.
