About this property

Walking distance to Marina, Harbor Beach and York Village!

This remodeled vacation home is a quaint expanded cape with peekaboo views of Barrell Mill Pond. It is in a quiet neighborhood, a stones throw from the York River Wiggly Bridge and a short walk to the York Harbor Beach, historic York Village, the town docks and marina.

The house was remodeled with a relaxing modern beach theme. The kitchen, master bedroom with en suite bathroom, second floor bathroom and front deck are all new. There is plenty of room for 6 people with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, family room, and kitchen. The master bedroom has a queen bed with two twins in each of the other bedrooms. There is a shady backyard with a patio, propane grill, and views to Wiggly Bridge and a large front porch with both sitting and eating areas.

Please note a Saturday turnover with a 7 day rental is required in high season typically last week of June through August. Other times of the year there is a 3 day minimum rental.

York is a popular beach community with history, charm and accessibility. First settled in 1624 and the first incorporated city in America, the area offers a myriad of fun things to do including relaxing on the beach, fishing, sightseeing and shopping. It is home to the John Hancock Wharf and Mark Twain's Summer home and is an area which still has architectural examples from the Gilded Age, particularly the Shingle style.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place all used linens in the hampers in each bedroom.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No outdoor fires or portable fire pits and no noise after 10PM
If garbage or recycling is not put out curbside for pickup there will be a fee of $100, as this is our cost to have a special pickup.
Pets are not allowed unless previously agreed to with the owner Parking limited to four cars

This is the third time we've rented this house. It's great for families, plenty of room and close to everything in York. The house is comfortable and well kept. And, it's just steps from the Wiggly Bridge and a short drive to Long Sands and Short Sands beaches. The owner was very communicative and accommodating. We will be back!

Perfect spot

This was our second time staying here. We find the house perfect for our family of four. We love the location- a walk down to the water and close to the center of town and several nearby towns. Such a cool spot

We were so happy to be in this beautiful part of Maine in such a fine spot. We were under 10 minutes from the highway and yet it was a magical location. We loved the wiggly bridge and enjoyed lovely walks to the various water views. The house was perfectly comfortable - good beds, comfortable blankets and towels, the very basics in the kitchen. It was a great trip!
