Relax and unwind on the quiet side of the Bolivar Peninsula at Mermaid Manor!!
This stunning three bedroom two bathroom villa is perfect for family getaways or a quiet couples trip. Gorgeous panoramic porch views and only steps away from the beach.

Indoors: This house is on stilts and only accessible by stairs. Living and kitchen area are open and full of natural light. All new furniture with a relaxing beach vibe. 65” Roku TV for streaming all your favorite shows. Your sign in will be required to use streaming services. Please remember to sign out upon check out. Guest will have access to entire house except the owner closet and pantry. These will be locked, please do not tamper with locks. Washer and dryer available ( please give your items a shake outside before using)

Bedrooms: Two bedrooms with attached bathrooms on main floor, both with king sized beds and 55” Roku TVs. Loft bedroom with full bed. ( see loft rules ) 55 inch smart tv, great for the kids to hook up any video games.

Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, blender, toaster, coffee pot, hand mixer, cookware, dishes, eating and cooking utensils. Tea, coffee and basic spices are available for your convenience. We do provide basic cleaning supplies, ( dish soap, multi purpose cleaner, broom, mop ) two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels and trash bags.

Outdoors: Front porch with amazing views of the Gulf and Intracoastal Waterway with seating for two. Downstairs patio with seating for meals. Charcoal grill available for use. Grill should only be used on downstairs patio, no grills are permitted on upstairs porch under any circumstances. Charcoal not provided. Outdoor shower for your convenience. Please rinse sand off before using indoor furniture. The couch does have couch covers to protect the furniture, we recommend leaving them on to prevent damage.

Amenities: The pool is OPEN!! Playground for the kiddos!! Fire pit and observation deck right next to the house!! Please follow all pool rules. Children must be supervised by an adult at the pool at all times.

Loft Rules: We do not recommend children under 8 years old using the loft and all others use at your own risk. This loft has a railing but is completely open to the downstairs and is not closed off. By booking this property you are assuming the risks of using the loft. Please use caution on the stairs!!!

NO SMOKING!! Any evidence of smoking inside will result in a $500 cleaning fee.
No RV parking!! No pets without host approval.
No parties or events. All guest must be registered and 25 years of age and IDs are required.
Violations of these rules could result in you being asked to leave without a refund.
We do have two exterior cameras for your safety and ours.

Mermaid Manor had everything we needed for a great family getaway and communication leading up to our stay was excellent. It's a brand new, beautiful, clean house that had plenty of room for the four of us. The beach was a short walk away. The kids enjoyed hours of playing in the sand and surf, and they also enjoyed the pool too. The kitchen was well equipped, and there's an ocean view from the balcony. Thanks for a great trip and great memories.

All the little things….

All the little things about this property, made it an amazing stay for our girls trip! It was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and located away from all of the wild beach goers. We loved everything about it and look forward to coming back on a future visit. We had one issue with the key and the front door lock, but the host was quick to come by and get it fixed for us. We appreciated the quick response!

The house was super cute and clean. Very well stocked! Owner was quick to respond and allowed for an early check in. We were VERY happy with the house itself! I was wishing for blinds in the bedrooms at night. Beds were super comfy though, as was the couch!Only complaint is the water source next to the house (a pool maybe?) was gross and green.

Perfect birthday trip!

My boyfriend and I have birthdays very close together so we booked the house along with some friends to have a little birthday getaway. The house is located about a block from the beach, within walking distance. It was very clean, the couch and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had every dish you could need to cook with, and some basic food items such as spices and cooking spray etc. Plenty of seating. The outdoor shower was so wonderful for finsing off after the beach! 10/10 will be staying again!

July Getaway

The property was beautiful, very well maintained, and our older teen loved the loft and the separation it gave him. The hosts were amazing and extremely responsive. The pool was unfortunately not ready for our use, but the storm just came through so I am sure there were more important things for the community to worry about. We would definitely stay here again, or any property Jessica and Mindy managed!

Most Relaxing Beach Getaway!!

This house is the perfect place to stay in Bolivar! It’s located in a very cute and updated neighborhood that’s a little outside of town, but still not too far away. The house is right across the street from a beach access road and it’s the perfect spot to set up for the day! It’s also located right next to a fire pit and just a small walk away from the neighborhood pool which is also very nice and clean! Jess and Mindy were so helpful in answering any and all questions that I had. The welcome basket that they provided with snacks and waters was so thoughtful. Even the pillows on the bed were so comfortable that I had to purchase the same exact ones for my own home! You’ll definitely be able to get some rest and have some fun staying here. 😎

Clean but not as described

Beside the steps to this property is what seems to be a large “pool” by the pictures since the listing talks about a pool. (Pool is actually a few streets over) Had I known that in fact is not a pool but a swamp if you will which is a complete breeding ground for mosquitoes. We literally could barely get in our car and close the door and had 30-40 mosquitoes in the car with us. You cannot enjoy outside under the house at all due to the mosquito infestation. We could not grill or sit downstairs because of how bad they were . No ceiling fans in the bedrooms so bring a fan they provide one box fan. No table or tv trays to play board games or cards on we all had to sit on the beds to play cards/games. To get to the beach you have to cross a two lane highway that people fly down so walking is not an option to the beach. I did let the property owner know about the mosquitoes but looking in the guest book they have been aware of the issue since end of May first of June.
