This was our 5th year at the Finn Inn and we love it. The home is so nice and in a great location. Kiddos loved taking the paddle boat in the quiet cove. Owners were very quick to respond with any issues.

Finn Inn is the perfect location for a wonderful Ozark!!!
This is the second year in a row that my family has spent a week at Finn Inn. It is the perfect spot on the lake. A quiet cove with wonderful neighbors. Big kitchen to fix family meals, large deck to eat them on. Sleeping for 10 makes it very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation on the lake. We've already booked for next year. It goes quickly.

Very Relaxing Vacation!
We absolutely LOVED the Finn Inn. Very well maintained home with plenty of room for 10. We were 6 adults and 4 children. Were able to enjoy the porches for morning coffee, to play games, and have a light meal. The home has a great upstairs area with two bedroom and a third very large bedroom along with a large area for lounging and watching tv or playing pool. Very clean when we arrived. The kids loved the beach area and the dock where we caught a few fish for an evening dinner. We hope to return to the Finn Inn as we felt like it was our own home very cozy and relaxing.

Thanks, Lynn! We are so happy that your family enjoyed their stay at the Inn.
We've been continuously updating the interior of the house to make sure that we live up to all the wonderful reviews, including yours. This year we turned our attention to the outdoors and updated the dock and beach adding new dock furniture, kayaks, paddle boards, pool noodles, and inflatables to make sure your family had everything you needed to have a perfect family vacation. Sounds like your family did so we are thrilled.
You and your family are great guests. Come back and see us next year!

The title says it all. I did a great deal of research to find a place that fit out needs and the Finn Inn delivered. The house was off the beaten path but was amazing. The house was huge with plenty of space for everyone. The decorations were adorable and homey. The indoor sitting room with all windows facing the lake was the perfect place to sit without being in the elements and away from the mosquitoes. We used the grill and fire pit every night. The dock with a table and all of the water toys was so much fun to explore and everyone had something to try out. Inside, the kitchen had everything we could have needed and wanted to cook with, accompanied by plenty of food containers and pantry space. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and super helpful with all of my questions. Will definitely stay again!

Our best sibling-week vacation ever....by FAR!
For years our siblings have gotten together for a fishing/relaxation weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks. We have stayed at some very nice places, too. Always, however, "something" was missing. Of utmost importance was our oldest sibling, who needs to stay on one level and cannot do steps. When she saw her beautiful, spacious bedroom suite on the main level, complete with her personal bathroom and walk-in shower, she said she felt like a queen! And, indeed, we called her The Queen all week.
But that house! It was huge. Beautiful. Spotlessly clean. So tastefully decorated. And there was nothing that we would need that they didn't already have prepared in advance. Every dish, pot, pan, toaster, grill (inside and out), everything we would want. A GREAT book selection. Games, Water toys, beach with a gorgeous fire pit. I could go on and on, but to say this was the best place and that every one of us LOVED it is an understatement.
To our friends at the Finn Inn, thank you for making this vacation so very easy, so comfortable, we appreciate the total privacy you gave us while letting us know you were available if we had any need. Also thank you for the fish, the turtles, the baby ducks, baby geese, the friendly blue heron that visited us each day. Oh. And my husband wants to thank you for that 4.5 lb. bass he got! See you next year (or maybe even the Fall!)

We are so happy that you had a great time! Thank you for the kind words. We would love to have you and your family back.
We had 4 couples that stayed here for a few days during the shootout. The property was absolutely perfect. Worked out amazing for us. Everyone was comfortable and happy with the house. The house is exactly as pictured and described. Located in a great cove and close to a lot of the fun places on the water. We will definitely stay here again if we have the chance. 5 out of 5!
Great location in a no wake cove. Loved all the water toys they provided and we tried them all. Kids really enjoyed being able to fish from the dock in the mornings and evenings. Very nice that all 10 of us were able to eat meals together at the big table. The covered dock and boat slip were wonderful. So nice to be able to be in the shade or the sun and still be part of the fun and activities. It was wonderfully equipped and everything we needed was provided. The property manager Tom checked in on us and was very helpful with our one request. We can’t wait to come back next year!
One of the best places we have stayed on the lake! So many outdoor activities provided, we didn't even get to enjoy it all. And the peaceful, beautiful view made 6:30am worth waking up to....sitting out on the deck was my favorite spot in the mornings and evenings. If we had a couple weeks to spend on the lake, this would definitely would be the place! Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of paradise.
We loved staying at the Finn Inn! The lake access and private dock was wonderful for all of the kids. The property was super clean and provided everything we needed.
Beautiful And clean home, not too many steps to the dock, quiet neighborhood, easy access to boat rental, just enough chairs at large family table. Wish we could rent again next year but the Finn Inn is already booked
Only negative is nearest grocery store (Walmart) is about 20 minutes away
My family loved our stay at Finn Inn! Grandkids had plenty of water activities, and everyone enjoyed catching bluegill & catfish off the dock. The outdoor sitting areas & firepit were perfect in the evening. Though we brought our own supplies, there was plenty of kitchen & bath essentials here. Everyone was comfortable in their rooms - safe to say we all loved this beautiful property & we hope to book a week again next year! Thank you for this perfect getaway!
This property is exactly as pictured. We had a bit of trouble finding it. Listening to GPS instead of the directions from the owners. But once we got there everything was perfect. We were able to put two cars in the garage and there was parking on the side. The cove is calm and quiet. The sand beach was great as was all the water toys. The pool table was enjoyed by everyone from the four year old to the grandparents. We spent so much time on the sun porch, it was the best room in the house. I would recommend this place to anyone!
This was our 8th year at the Finn Inn and everything was wonderful. The house is amazing, plenty of space for everyone and beautiful furnishings and updates (new kitchen, bathrooms, etc). The location is nice and quiet so the family can enjoy swimming off the dock and using all the great toys provided (paddle boat, paddle board and kayaks). Love this place and already planning next years stay!
The whole place was great. The deck and four seasons room were excellent to relax after a long day watching the kids play on the beach, kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding, laying on the water mat, and playing cards on the porch. Everything we could have needed was available. Highly recommend!
This was such a great getaway vacation for our family. We had 9 adults and a toddler. Plenty of space and so many fun activities to do. House was already pretty baby proofed and brought one baby gate for the stairs. The two living areas, pool table, sunroom and dock were such great areas for our family! The dock was so great and was nice that it had all the toys we needed for the week! Would highly recommend this place. It’s also nice that it’s not on the main channel of the lake but in a nice cove close to gas and restaurants on the water. This was a much needed vacation for our family and we thoroughly enjoyed it!
We had an incredible time. The house and grounds were beautiful! Just show up with clothes and food and you literally need nothing else. We rented a boat for the week, so it was perfect just walked down to the boat and hop on. Perfect for social distancing as we did not have to encounter anyone. We will be back and thank you for a wonderful place to enjoy our vacation.
The Finn Inn has everything you need for an awesome vacation. Great spot to create life long memories with your family

About the host
Hosted by Bill and Meg Bromfield
Meg, our three boys and I live in Bainbiridge Island, Washington. In the summer of 2013 we came to the lake for a one week visit to my sister, Kathy Emke. We were skeptical about whether we were "lake people" but, as our visit extended into a second week, we realized we were. During our Summer 2014 visit we were told that the previous owners had moved to Washington State and were possibly interested in selling Finn Inn. We jumped at the chance to purchase our own lake home and closed on the sale in April 2015. Since closing, we have been making changes to meet our family's needs and are hopeful that the upgrades will make the Inn an even better place for our guests to vacation.
Why they chose this property
Finn Inn is located in a quiet family-oriented cove where my family can paddle boat, paddle board, water ski, swim, fish and boat. The house is large so it can accommodate extended families. The house has the charm of the original small, knotty pine summer cabin with all the amenities of a modern day house.
The house is located in a cul-de-sac with a neighborhood boat ramp. The neighbors have lived in the surrounding houses for generations which appealed to our sense of community. The house is also two doors from my sister and brother-in-law's house that has been in his family since 1984. The house adjacent to the beach is also owned by my sister's family. The house is surrounded by green space and gardens maintained by our families to provide a park like setting.
What makes this property unique
The large, open main level provides a place for everyone to be together cooking, watching TV, playing games, or just hanging out. The second floor living room is a great place for playing pool, video games, movie watching, or just getting away from the crowd. The wrap-around deck allows guest in the first floor master bedroom to slip outside for a quiet morning coffee or join the others on the main deck. The sun porch provides a panoramic view of the cove and Soap Creek so you won't miss the fog lifting off the water in the morning or the sunset in the evening. Enjoy sitting out on the private beach with a good book while everyone else swims off the dock during the day and enjoy roasting marshmallows in our fire pit in the evening.
