great place to stay

we've stayed here multiple times -- availability is sometimes an issue, and we have been accidentally cancelled by the property manager -- but when we do get to stay we always have a great time -- the property is clean and well decorated, and it has ample bedrooms!

Lives up to “Happy Place”

The location was easily accessible to mountains and area activities. The house has lots of space for 10 people to enjoy quiet time and socialize! We enjoyed it!

Great stay, great location

The managers and owners were really, really great. The previous guests left some strange odor issue in one of the downstairs rooms and they stopped at nothing to fix it. Great rooms, fully stocked kitchen, nice extra things like a hot tub. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent location, access to skiing and SLC

Property is perfect for a large family /group. We had 5 adults and 2 teens, with 2 br to spare. Kitchen is well stocked (even has a rice cooker). Hot tub, gas grill, and fire pit are nice, and access to garage is a big plus.

Great place for group

We stayed here for a group of Soccer parents and kids for a soccer tournament. This was a perfect house with many bedrooms and beautiful outside space to sit outside and even a hot tub for the kids to soak in at night. It was a great location close to the interstate to get to the fields. we highly recommend this place to stay for a group gathering.

This place had EVERYTHING you needed. Super Clean! Fully stocked kitchen with all the things you may need. Would definitely a Happy Place and would stay here again. Host/Property Manager was very responsive.

Great Sandy Ski Vacation House

This place was great! The kitchen was well stocked with every pot, pan and kitchen tool needed for our group. Given that it was prior to Christmas the place was tastefully decorated with a welcoming Christmas theme. Everyone in our group were happy with the bedrooms and bathrooms. I recommend this place for those skiers that want to ski Alta and Snowbird.

Perfect family home convenient to top ski resorts

We stayed at “My Happy Place” for our Christmas vacation this year and would give it 10 stars if we could. Highlights- beautiful decor, very well appointed kitchen, cozy fireplace, comfortable beds, very clean. The list goes on. We skied at Alta, Snowbird, Solitude and Deer Valley and could not have stayed at a more central location. Finally the hosts left out treats for us upon arrival. Really, cannot recommend more highly.

Excellent house for ski group; nice location and facilities

We enjoyed very much our stay. Kitchen was very FULLY supplied with pots/pans/glasses/etc. Enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace; hardly had time to use the game room downstairs. Location is easy access, quiet (except when school lets out in the afternoon). Hot water is HOT. Can't think of anything except I could have used a pastry cutter for pie crust - the only kitchen item I didn't find there!

Friends reunion

We were very pleased with the rental. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had everything that we needed. There was lots of space to gather and visit. The kitchen and dining area worked well for staying in for our meals. And in spite of the record breaking July heat, the shaded patio was comfortable for sitting outdoors in the morning and evenings. Aaron was quick to respond to any questions that we had. Definitely look forward to staying in the Happy Place again:)

The main floor (two smaller living spaces, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen) is nice. Kitchen is well stocked. The downstairs/basement (two bedrooms, living space, bathroom, laundry) area is not as nice, unfortunately it had a very bad smell. Aaron was quick to respond and the owners were willing to have the carpet cleaned. We were settled and chose to just use the main floor. We were contacted during our stay b/c the security cameras weren't working, asking to ensure the boxes were plugged in. They were, the internet was just not working. This felt a little uncomfortable, not sure if the cameras are to monitor guest activity or due to the surrounding area. (Surrounding area was quiet and seemed nice.) The backyard is smaller and doesn't really have a view, but it is clean and we enjoyed the patio and hot tub.
