The cottage was larger than we expected which was beneficial as there were 5 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were steps to the beach and 10 minutes to downtown. We really enjoyed our stay.
Great property, very private and quiet, located right at the beach (it is Bayfield, so prepare yourself for all the stairs). Short walk to Main St. The cottage has everything you need. Would book again
A great place in a perfect location! Steps from the beach, and a short walk into town. Glass Tile is very clean and had lots of room for everyone to sit at the table for meals and board games or find a cozy seat to read. Two full bathrooms meant no waiting when we returned from some longer hikes. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, pots, pans, utensils and everything you’d need to cook, snack, or enjoy take out. The hosts were a quick message away for anything we needed. We love visiting Bayfield, and this is the best cottage we’ve stayed in!
Super cute cottage that had a fantastic area it was right by pretty much anything we needed so we never needed to go farWe brought our own playpen but they did have one there if it was needed definitely family friendly
Our young family had an amazing time at Glass tile. It was a perfect location. Walk across the road, down the stairs and you're at a super quiet beach (even during a long weekend). Clear water, beautiful sunshine (and sunsets!). The town of Bayfield is really nice and some great restaurant options. Looking forward to coming back

Thanks Steve, we appreciate your review.... hope to see you again!
It was lovely! The only thing is definitely remember to bring dish towels, because there are none on the property. But other than that, the host was so communicative, and the property is nice and has a great location.

Thanks Madison,
We appreciate you comments... yes, guests must bring sheets and towels....
Fantastic location, the walk to the beach and the workout of coming up the beach stairs was appreciated.
This was our first trip to a cottage, The cottage is very cozy and comfortable, on the old side but well kept.
Kitchen has everything you need for quick meals. You do need to bring all your towels, beach, bath, hand and dish. The mattress on the master bedroom could use a refresh.
We found it a bit pricey, but we did booked last minute on a long weekend, the town is close by and very posh. Grocery store is a quick drive away but closes early.
The owners provided clear instructions to use and clean the hot tub.
Overall we really enjoyed the place!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
The cancellation request I submitted well within the allotted time was received but not processed. This left me in a situation with a double booking for the weekend which resulted in a financial loss to me. Then a week before our arrival I was sent an email informing us that we needed to supply our own bed linens and bath towels. Had I known this was the case I would not have booked this accommodation in the first place as we were travelling from British Columbia to Ontario for a wedding. The person managing the cottage took 24 hours to respond to replies to his text messages that contained important questions. Overall the advertising and communication were poor, otherwise the cottage was comfortable and clean.
We had a lot of fun at this property for our first stay in Bayfield. Having not been to Bayfield before we were very pleased with the location in proximity to the water and downtown (which is so lovely!) The space was roomy, though kind of dark inside/ not a lot of light. The bathrooms and rooms were clean and we made use of the pack'n'play provided. The kitchen was well stocked - condiments were included in the fridge, which was helpful!
As first time visitors with small children, it would be helpful for the listing to note that there are three flights of stairs to reach the water (you are not about to make double trips getting downstairs so we were carrying babies and bags) and that it is quite rocky/not easy to enter the water (bring water shoes!). I would also suggest updating the listing to note that no linens are provided.
We would rent here again; Bayfield is lovely and we were comfortable in this space as a family of four.
