Welcome to unit B16, your very own Ocean View Caribbean Home away from home.
The condo with free Wi-Fi has been upgraded with all new furnishings and can accommodate up to four guests comfortably with a king-sized bed and a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living room. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need during your stay. The newly renovated bathroom can be entered from the bathroom and the kitchen. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the wrap around balcony. This villa is steps away from the Terrace Pool and a short walk to the resort lobby and activities center, and the guest laundry facility.

Nestled just 8 miles away from the airport, Point Pleasant Resort offers convenient transportation options including taxis or car rentals for your ease of travel. While a car is recommended for ease in exploration of the island, taxis stationed adjacent to the resort lobby provide readily available alternatives. Additionally, shuttle services operate from the resort lobby, ensuring seamless access to the 15-acre property from 8 am to 12 am daily.

Ideal for couples, solo adventurers, families with children, and remote business travelers, our resort boasts proximity to key attractions such as Coki Beach (2 min away), Coral World Ocean Park and Aquarium (3 min away), the ferry to St. John (5 min away, passport not required), and the world-famous Megan's Bay (10 min away).

This is a perfect place to stay for a relaxing vacation. The wraparound deck provides the perfect place to begin and end your day. It is centrally located on the property. The apartment has everything you need for your stay. We especially appreciated the beach chairs.

Great views & relaxing atmosphere

Everything was nice, but the only thing that bothered us where the small little ants all over the kitchen counter & inside the microwave. We really didn’t cook there but ate out the rest of time we we’re there. We will definitely come back & enjoy Point Pleasant Resort. Love the US Virgin Island

Wonderful Stay!

The property and unit itself are just breathtaking! Set upon a cliffside with views overlooking the ocean scattered with islands/cays in the background was a dream come true. Location of the resort is central to most things one would want to do. We rented a car and everything was so easily accessible every day. The unit itself was clean, large, functional, comfortable, cool with AC, and of course had ground to ceiling sliding glass doors which made every moment special.

A little dated, but the views make up for it!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Getting to the condo itself is a little sketchy via the walking path. Carrying in suitcases was a nightmare, but we survived. When we saw the view, it was worth it. Really cool wrap-around deck with nice seating. Loved the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors on two sides of the condo. Like I said, its a little dated...and feels dirty because of it. The toilet was broken, but maintenance was quick to replace it. The resort felt safe and the staff was friendly. Will be back!

My Stay

Very hilly. Walking around the resort can be a task if you’re not in good shape or elderly. The paths/stairs are in horrible condition. They’re not evenly spaced and for the most part are in a state of disrepair. The Beach was pretty much non existent. The 2 restaurants onsite are not the best. The views are beautiful. The rooms are clean and were as advertised and the staff was accommodating. For me that’s all I needed. Overall my stay was great. I would definitely stay there again.

A great place to get away from it all.

The views from this property are stunning. It is well located both on the property and in proximity to other amenities two very different types of restaurants. One of the restaurants is low key and the other is more upscale. However, because I am self-employed, I need a good internet connection so that I can escape for awhile. Our internet was spotty and generally did not work on several occasions. I told the front desk about this but it was never really resolved. That is the reason for the 4 stars on two of the answers. Otherwise, if that is not an issue for you, then this is a great place to stay. Perhaps that one issue will be resolved soon.

Amazing View!

The unit itself is great with amazing views! The bathroom appeared to be recently updated and the furnishings were nice. The resort itself is not for everyone. A very small beach with a hike to get there. I saw two of the pools on the property both nice. No one was at either one. Only one restaurant was open on the property and it opened at 4pm and was very expensive. We ate there one night, and the food was amazing. The hostess would not seat us at the tables with the best views as she said they were reserved. BUT no one ever came and they sat empty, which was disappointing. The path to the unit is very difficult to negotiate - and I stress VERY. Staff at the resort were available to help with luggage, which was great. But people should be warned, if you have any type of mobility issues it's a long difficult trek to the unit from parking.

Good, but needs some attention to be great.

Family of 4 stayed there for one week. One teen and 11 year old comfortably shared the pull out bed. Staff: - Friendly, responsive, and eager to help. - Genuinely good people! Location: - Beautiful view! - Nice wrap around balcony - Loved the nearly all-glass walls on 2 sides - Not 'Easy' access, but we loved how it's kind of hidden Unit: Not sure how to contact the owners about these items, but it seems that there are some simple things that need attention. - DVD player broken. We were looking forward to watching a movie on a rainy evening, but couldn't. - WiFi signal is poor because wireless router is missing the antennae. Not sure how that happened. Looks like it was broken off. - Kitchen sink sprayer does not work - There are 2 fans in the main room, both operated by the same remote. The lights on the fan above the eating area flicker so much we had to turn off both lights on the ceiling fans. - Bathroom lights flicker - Mold in AC unit - Bathroom ceiling above shower is wood planks, and the corner above the shower head is all moldy and broken. Overall loved the stay. Fixing the above items would take it over the top for location/price!

Great views with some suggestions

In selecting an accommodation my wife and I try to factor in location to restaurants, beaches, shopping, and views from the property. We felt that PPR provided this for us and we were satisfied with our decision. PPR does not really have a swimmable beach that you would use on the property and we were aware of that and felt that with our rental car we could visit the many wonderful beaches on the island. Prior to our trip I sent correspondences via VRBO and emails to our contact person to ask a few questions about the unit that wasn’t covered within the description on VRBO. This was a frustration point as they would respond but only answer the first of the 4 or 5 questions. We wanted to plan accordingly so we could bring or purchase needed supplies. The unit itself had a huge wrap round porch. It was very private and we enjoyed having our morning coffee and cocktails in the evening while enjoying the magnificent view. As the property met our needs there were a few short-comings. The unit has a fan and light over the dining table that is not functional (minimal light when eating dinner at night). When we asked the front desk how to turn on the light they recalled that the remote was missing and they offered to put in a lamp in that area. I’m not sure why they would not inform us of this when we checked in. When we went to put our clothes in the closet the bi-fold door came off. It appears that it was just put in place to be decorative since you would not be able to use it otherwise. We notified the front desk on this so that it could be noted. Also upon our settling in the safe was locked in the open position and without the ability for us to reset it and use it. We called about that and needed a follow-up call the next morning before someone came. We also either failed to hear the procedures to replace beach towels, bath towels and toiletries or it wasn’t mentioned at the time of our orientation. After a day of travel I’m not sure which but I feel that it would be beneficial to have a short list in the unit that explains this like they have on the wall to conserve resources. The property offers beautiful views and 24 hour security. I realize certain aspects of being on an island make it difficult to maintain certain quality standards, but things within one's control, like being informative (proactive to identify and notify about any deficiencies) and debris collection should be easy to do.

Private oasis - amazing views

Views were amazing!! Great to have privacy and generally quiet. Nice options for pool areas. Room layout made it possible to lounge in bed still be able to see the water/islands! Front desk always pleasant and knowledgeable! We loved this oasis to come "home" to every night!

Beautiful view!

The beautiful view is what this property is all about! Most of our time was spent on the balcony enjoying it. The inside of the property is in need of a deep cleaning and some upgrades. The bathroom was relatively new and pleasing, but the kitchen needs to be upgraded as the cabinets are in need of repair. Floors were swept clean, but seemed old & dirty. Furniture was soiled & worn. Unpleasant odor in bedroom closet.

Beautiful view, nice location, lots of walking

This was a gorgeous place, with an amazing view and we used the Brita water filter there and found the water tasted fine to drink! The place was clean and comfortable and we loved that we could walk down to the beach. We were 3 healthy, fit girls that could handle the walk down and back up from the great restaurant on the water and to the beach area. There was some sea grass in the bay, so it wasn't ideal for swimming, but it was nice to wade in and look at. It was also a walk uphill to get to the reception area from the place, but it was farther to go down to the water than it was to go up to reception. There are little carts that you could call to take you up or down if necessary, but we never tried them. I would recommend this place 100% and would stay there again, but I think it is important for guests to know that there are stairs and walking up or down hill every time you leave the condo.

Great stay and beautiful property

This property is spectacular and the services were outstanding. The view from our unit was second to none and to wake up to that view of the Caribbean every morning is truly wonderful. The property has 3 pools which were almost always empty, and also its own little small beach. The beachside restaurant was great for lunch or dinner and would recommend the tuna.

Shuttle service was awesome!!

We were so thrilled to find out Point Pleasant Resort offers a free shuttle around the island. The resort itself is gorgeous and they even have a lobby shop where we picked up beach essentials- snacks and sunscreen! Our room had a very comfortable bed and it was very clean. We cant wait to come back!!
