Kamaole Sands is a beautiful resort, nestled between Mount Haleakala, Maui’s dormant volcano and the white sandy beaches we all love to play on. 15 acres of tropical gardens, waterfalls, pools, hot tubs, tennis courts and all the conveniences we have come to expect of condominium living. Just across the street is Kamaole III Beach/Park, one of Maui's most famous beaches. It's gentle surf makes it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding, strolling the miles of beach or just soaking up the sun. The park is a great place for a picnic or gathering. Whale watching is popular in the winter and the nightly sunsets are spectacular all year.

Decorated in tropical Hawaiian design, 1 Bedroom + queen sofa bed (sleeps 4), 2 bath, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer in unit. In the distance you can see the ocean and feel the gentle sea breeze that brings the scent of tropical flowers. My husband is a surgeon and I taught martial arts (Shotokan Karate and Taiji) for 30 years. We both love to travel and have been to many countries around the world but Maui feels most like home to us so we made Maui our second home.
Why they chose this property
We just fell in love with Kamaole Sands, the gardens, the location, the birds singing and the sea breeze. The location is perfect and the people are just great.
What makes this property unique
Some of our favorite things to do would be daily walks on the beach, sitting on the lanai or taking cheese and wine to the park to watch the sunset. In the evening we love to walk down to the ice cream shop for a cone. We also like hiking and exploring. At night we love to sit in the hot tub and look at the stars.
