You're on the top floor of desirable "A" building with OCEAN & mountain views..SO CLOSE TO THE OCEAN YOU CAN HEAR THE WAVES! Decorated island style with traditional Hawaiian tapas and Tropical furniture...you will truly feel you are in Hawaii. We want you to fall in love with Maui, as we have, and trust our condo will give you all the comforts of home!

Watch sunrises and sunsets from your lanai. On clear nights see Haleakala Observatory on Haleakala Mountain from the lanai. YOU'RE SO CLOSE TO THE OCEAN YOU CAN HEAR THE WAVES!

Queen size bed in the master bedroom WITH CENTRAL A/C, 2 twins in the second bedroom A/C WITH SEPERATE CLIMATE CONTROL). Fully stocked kitchen with washer and dryer.

No need to rent a car, though there are 2 parking spaces (244 and 25). Charley Young and Kam 1 beach is just across the street to relax and enjoy the ocean or learn to paddleboard, kayak or surf down at The Cove, a 5 minute walk down the street. Walk to the Triangle with amazing restaurants and a supermarket. Save the car rental for a day trip to Hana, the public bus stop is just down the street.

Enjoy the beach by walking across the street. Beach towels, boogie boards and beach chairs available to you. BBQ grill, Sparkling swimming pool, hot tub all available onsite!

The condo is clean when you arrive and it is cleaned again when you leave.

Wonderful!

Great resort with spacious kitchen, den, BRs and baths. The pool area was very good with lazy river and multiple pools to enjoy as well as pool with sand beach and water slides for kids.

We had a wonderful stay. Kihei is the perfect balance of beach and convenience to restaurants and stores. We love the condo experience so much better than a resort experience. What Ales You for craft beer and wines, just down the road and beaches right across the street. Good hospitality all around.

Our Annual "Roadtrip"

This year our annual roadtrip over President's Day weekend with friends took us to this lovely condo. It worked great for two couples. We each got our own bedroom and bathroom and the entire condo was clean, neat, and in a wonderful location. It had everything we needed for outings to the beach and the kitchen allowed us to keep our eating out costs down and still enjoy our time in paradise. We had a great time and recommend it to anyone!

We had everything we could possibly need except for a good bed. Both beds were very uncomfortable and the sheets did not stay on. New beds and sheets would make this condo perfect.

Pam, the property manager is the best. We stayed here for 2 months and just relaxed. The condo is nicely stocked with spices and extra condiments as well. The bathroom is also well stocked with all your bathroom needs as well The view from our balcony is amazing. We can even see whales out and about The closet is well stocked with any thing you need for the beach. Bring your camera down to catch the turtles on the beach Thank you again Pam for making our stay wonderful Mahalo!

Everything you need, where you need it.

This great unit was enjoyed by my wife and I and our son and his partner. The location is superb and is ideally located to walk to a number of the beaches including Kamaole I, II and III, and is also so close to great casual restaurants and stores. Being in South Kihei means you are close to the best snorkelling on the island and yet still only 20-25 minutes from Kahului and the inevitable run to bigger stores and Costco. The unit itself is very well equipped with all sorts of kitchen tools, and I really appreciated that the owner and housekeeping staff do not throw out all things left by previous guests. The access to spices, oils and even some cold beer was most welcome. The addition of the welcome package of local wares is great. The condo is quiet and has a nice, but partial view of the ocean and the surrounding coastline. You can see Molokini too, while also being able to check out the weather on Haleakela. Parking is ideal, right in front of the walk to the stairs and elevator. We did not use the pool but it looked great, and the BBQ's were clean and well serviced. A great location that is highly recommended. Dealing with Pam was a breeze and she was able to respond to inquiries quickly and was also so helpful in working with us for a delayed check out as we had the dreaded red-eye back to the mainland.

Great condo.

Just got back after staying a week at this condo. The condo is a great balance between location Kihei, but across not on the beach, and price at the low end of prices for the area. Beach access is down a small road across the street from the property. Not being on the beach, I was worried that the view would not be that good. One of my favorite things is to drink my morning coffee and watch the water and the whales. The view is actually better than the pictures, and in spite of having to look across the street, there is a lot to see. The unit was very comfortable, and stocked with lots of starter foods and condiments. For people who have not done this before, this is food from previous guests. You take what you need, and you leave what you have. A great system. Thanks someone for the beers and truffle oil! There were beach chairs, boogie boards and if you need them snorkel masks. We used our own, so I cannot vouch for whether the masks are good. One final note, the unit is listed as 750 square feet, and is smaller than other ones we have stayed in. However, it was fine for our family of 4, and we knew it was not huge when we rented it. Would rent again if given the opportunity.

Very clean and handy condo

What a lovely stay we had at Pam's condo! Everything went without a hitch. Check-in was easy, and checkout instructions were clear. The place was immaculate and everything worked. It was a very comfortable stay. A lot of things are within walking distance (beach, shops, restaurants) if you don't want to use the car. The elevator was handy. The only thing we missed was the pool - we ran out of time to try it out (spent the bulk of our stay either visiting or at the beach)!

This place did not disappoint. As a matter of fact it exceeded our expectations.

We would definitely stay at this place again. It was roomy and had a view of the beach. It was a 4-5 min walk to the beach. We found out during the trip the the beaches by us were one of the best. The place had everything we needed for our comfort. We were pleasantly surprised to find beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel equipment, boogie boards and an ice cooler. The owner Pam responded promptly to our inquiries and was a pleasure to deal with. Our only regret is that we had to leave this piece of heaven. We recommend this place highly and look forward to returning.

Once we figured thing out, we enjoyed our stay. Would be nice if the notebook contained info on wifi, streaming TV, use of washer/dryer, air. 3 women over 60 may need a little more info. Sad we missed Super Bowl and Olympics because there was no regular TV channels, only streaming.

This condo is small but comfortable (although beds are a little soft in the middle). Each room has separate air conditioner, although they are on timers so cooling can go off in the middle of the night...LOL! Great location across the street from the beach and walking distance to restaurants, shops and bus line. All the amenities of home plus they provided beach towels and chairs! Would stay there again.

Home, location and home owner communication were great. The condo had all the amenities to make the weeklong stay feel like home. The added bonus was we were in walking distance of the best, kid friendly beach in Maui and a wide range of restaurants.

Perfect for a family of four!

For first time visitors to Hawaii, this was the perfect place to rest our heads! Kihei is a great, sunny beach town, and Pacific Shores Unit 403 was located in the perfect spot: up high enough for amazing views of the ocean, mountains, birds and almost directly across the street from the most delightful beach. Two bedrooms and bathrooms gave everyone some breathing space, the kitchen was great for the occasional evening that no one felt like going out, and the cross-ventilation and ceiling fans meant that we didn't need air conditioning at all in late March. On top of all this, Pam and crew keep this place spotless and supplied us mainlanders with all the tools we would need for a great beach experience (except for sunscreen. Bring lots of sunscreen!!). Our only quibbles were things that the owners can't control: these buildings are aging. The pipes squeaked, and the elevator lurched. We could deal with that since Charlie Young Beach is so near, and we honestly walked almost everywhere. Thank you to Pam and family for sharing their home with all of us!

We have stayed in 403 a few times in the past.The location is great and the unit is adequate.

We did find this time that the washer is hard to load and unload with the way that the door opens.Also climbing steps to set the dryer going is odd. Loading the fridge is also tight as the door can not be fully opened.

PERFECT PIECE OF PARADISE with amazing hospitality

This is the PERFECT PLACE to stay in Maui. My wife and 2 young daughters stayed here for a week. Pam and Cindy responded promptly to all questions. Pam had setup a pack-n-play and a high-chair for us! We had flight issues so arrived in the middle of the night. Pam was so amazing and even got us a started package including snacks, pineapple and even breakfast items for us and the kids. She even got gifts for our daughters - they were so excited! The place is immaculate - clear, homely, and spacious. 2 bedrooms was perfect with the kids and so nice to have a kitchen. Everything you could imagine needing on a Hawaii vacation is provided including beach chairs, coolers, boogie board, snorkel, fins, sand toys. They even had a Hawaiian dress and shirt! LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Condo is perfectly situated in Kihei. There is a pool on property which is great for the kids. You can walk easily to the most amazing beaches, restaurants, bars, stores. And Kihei is centrally located to everything! Could not recommend this place more highly! Thanks for the amazing hospitality and vacation!

We find the people on the island laid back, friendly and accepting. Our trips are always so relaxing and rejuvenating! We love the simple life here!

Why they chose this property

Pacific Shores is a reputable condo complex that is clean and well maintained. The ease of walking just across the street to the beach, along with the proximity of wonderful and affordable restaurants or a quick trip to the farmer's market or supermarkets makes it very easy to live here. We have found living near a public bus stop eliminates the expense of renting a car when we visit. We simply hop on the public bus to go anywhere! Saves $ and the environment! It rarely rains in Kihei so you don't have to worry about the weather disrupting your vacation plans!
